A trip like this depends on many factors especially the guide and travel companions. In this case we were so fortunate to have Fabio Giorlando as our exceptional guide. Our travel companions were terrific! The itinerary was varied and interesting. The family run businesses we visited warmly welcomed us and shared their stories and food/wine experiences.
The food and restaurant choices were enjoyable. It was very nice that Fabio arranged reservations at restaurants for the meals not covered by the tour making it easy for us to decide whether to eat there or elsewhere (we always ate there and the food and venue were always good.)

Let Greece’s sun-drenched landscapes and ancient wonders sweep you away on the Greece Discovery Tour, a 10-day guided adventure starting and ending in Athens. History enthusiasts will delight in visits to the classic sites of Athens, Delphi, and Olympia, where the echoes of philosophers and Olympians still linger.
The tour then shifts gears for four glorious days of relaxation on Santorini, where volcanic cliffs and crystalline waters create the perfect Mediterranean escape. With all accommodations, transport, and meals included, this trip is designed for those who want to balance cultural exploration with leisure.
The unique selling point of this tour package is its seamless combination of historical sightseeing and island relaxation, making it an ideal choice for travelers who want to experience the best of mainland Greece and the islands in one unforgettable journey.
Three of us girlfriends decided it was time for an Italian cultural recharge, and we picked the rail tour to hit the highlights with ease.
We explored Rome and saw the Coloseum as we opted for an optional tour. Florence was also beautiful.
Venice was pure magic. Our shared gondola ride under the Bridge of Sighs (with just six in the gondola) felt cozy and unforgettable . We spent afternoons discovering boutique shops and colorful squares.
For us, this tour struck the perfect balance. Relaxed evenings with wine and laughter. The train travel was a breeze, everything was well-coordinated.
