We enjoyed our tour of Greece in spite of the rain and cold weather. We were lucky in some days when we visited beautiful places without the rain. There were lots of tiring walks which we survived. We loved our tour specially of Athens & Mt. Meteora. Our tour guide George was very kind, knowledgeable and caring and made our tour unforgettable. We would like to see Greece again but not in wet February.

Tour was a good picture of Switzerland with a combination of cities, villages, and mountains. The dip into Italy was nice for a chance of pace and scenery. Our group was phenomenal. Our guide, Vili, did a wonderful job of creating a cohesive group that was supportive, friendly, and fun. The Matterhorn had to be the best experience. Our time there was clear weather and just a very light snow…perfect.

The tour provides a sampling of the shrines of Italy. I wanted to see the home of Padre Pio and was not disappointed. I was lucky enough to experience a spiritual light here My son died of cancer and followed Padre Pio and it was here I finally knew he was at peace and so was I . The stories of the Nazareth at the church in Lareto was amazing. It would have been nicer to spend more time there. This tour is not for people who cannot do stairs, some of the churches require walking up and down. Food in some of the places was was like banquet food and was terrible at the dinners. The pasta was great but some of the meats were horrible, some of the food was oversalted. Breakfast was the best.

The Dingle Peninsular and the Aran Islands were tops for me. Combine that with the Cliffs of Moher and the trip was spectacular! Marion McDonald also made the trip very memorable, great sense of humor, we connected on that issue very well! Tour was at a pace we seniors could handle well, with free time to see things on our own or just catch our breath. Loved Dublin!!!

It was a fast paced trip. It is a bit difficult staying only one night in a few places, just the logistics of packing up several nights and having everything ready for the next day is challenging. But, that being said I thoroughly enjoyed seeing so many things through out Italy. That inconvenience was minor in comparison to the amount of ground we covered.
