I was totally amazed by the spectacular view of the caves in Ninh Binh and Halong Bay, while my parents liked the Hue countryside tour. Vietnamese cuisine was excellent, from local street food to seafood buffets. We tried egg coffee, and it was so good, you must try it when traveling to Hanoi. We bought lots of souvenirs for our friends. We bought conical hats in the village, which was making them for a very long time, and we even saw the entire process of making them. Also, as soon as I booked he set about organizing the trek immediately over WhatsApp, even though he was a very busy man (I assume because of the other good treks he runs.) Just make sure you have a good insurance company. Apparently with trekking companies it is common to include a hard to find clause stating you will fully indemnify the company if your insurance refuses to pay.
