Long bus journey but worth it. Major sights visited in Istanbul city.
Gallipolli and Troy well worth visit,very interesting,hard to imagine human cost of war.Trenches still visable. Lots of archaeology at Troy and replica of wooden horse to go in. Good photo opportunities. Ephesus with ancient streets,roman toilets,columns,mosaics and carving of menorah. Amazing amphitheatre at Parmakeele,The Thermal Springs. Lots of people but lots of space. White rocks fab,water not warm,skin felt refreshed after dip. Hotels used were high quality. Breakfasts delicious. Time to visit museum shops and time for coffee break.
Guide allowed plenty of toilet stops.

Evia is an amazing island, very green and lush and the walking was varied. I was pleased by the amount of history and local knowledge imparted by the guides. The butterflies, flowers, tortoises and slow worms interested me a lot. The hotel provided a very comfortable base with the sea, tavernas and sea front giving evening entertainment. This is a great mix of moderately challenging walking with great food, wonderful history and interesting nature. I would heartily reccommend this holliday

It was great. We learnt so much about the country. Really happy the way the tour was run. Our guide Mustafa was one of the best guides we have ever had. What an amazing man with such a great heart and so patient. He has so much knowledge, there wasn't any question he couldn't answer. Hotels were excellent. Wow to Turkey. So many things to say. Stunning landscapes, amazing cities, beautiful beaches, delicious meals and soooo much incredible history. Everything is also very affordable even with the very low Australian dollar right now. Best of all is the people, they are all full of personality, jokes and kindness. As a solo female traveler, no one hassled me (although I'm in my 50's) and I never felt unsafe at any time.

We enjoyed our tour of Greece in spite of the rain and cold weather. We were lucky in some days when we visited beautiful places without the rain. There were lots of tiring walks which we survived. We loved our tour specially of Athens & Mt. Meteora. Our tour guide George was very kind, knowledgeable and caring and made our tour unforgettable. We would like to see Greece again but not in wet February.
