We enjoyed our tour of Greece in spite of the rain and cold weather. We were lucky in some days when we visited beautiful places without the rain. There were lots of tiring walks which we survived. We loved our tour specially of Athens & Mt. Meteora. Our tour guide George was very kind, knowledgeable and caring and made our tour unforgettable. This Greece Islands sailing adventure was so memorable! It exceeded all of our expectations, every day sailing to explore a different island and experience local culture and food as well as gain knowledge about the history and culture of the region. Our skipper CEO Mack was highly knowledgeable about the region and very passionate about sailing as well as sharing his knowledge and providing opportunities for each of us to learn and experience it for ourselves. Our only recommendation is for G Adventures to include more information about the need to pay in cash at restaurants and establishments in the Greek islands (Euros). We thought we would be using our credit card for dinners but learned we really needed to have cash instead.

This is our 5th cycling trip with Exodus and we feel this is the best trip that we had. We were blessed with nice blue sky every day. The cycling was just right (as we all made the climbs as a team without any stops in the middle); the roads were quiet and scenic; the ancient monuments and sights were great and the food and hotels were both 1st class.

George was an excellent tour leader. He provided all kinds of interesting and entertaining facts about mythology, Paul and Greece. I would recommend him to others. It is a tough trip and you really need to be able to walk from 16000 to 20000 steps per day. A lot of places were just opening because the tour seasons started that week.
