This was our second trek in Nepal having done Poon Hill in 2018. The Langtang Valley route is less crowded than Poon Hill. The trek is not easy with lots of ups and downs and a certain level of fitness is required. However, our efforts were well-rewarded with varied and breath-taking scenery along the route. The tea houses varied in level of comfort provided, with some having en suite western bathrooms while others, such as the Lama Hotel, were very basic with shared squat-style toilets and an outside shower room. The road to Syabrubesi is long and bumpy - I would definitely recommend getting the private jeep from Kathmandu. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed the Langtang Valley trek and would recommend it.

Trekking to Annapurna Base Camp in Nepal with guide Mingma Sherpa was an unforgettable experience that I will cherish for a lifetime. The trek was challenging yet incredibly rewarding, offering stunning views of the majestic Annapurna mountain range and providing a glimpse into the unique culture and way of life of the local Sherpa community.
From the moment I met Mingma Sherpa, I knew I was in good hands. His expertise and knowledge of the region were evident from the start, and his warm and friendly demeanor made the trek even more enjoyable. Mingma's passion for the mountains and dedication to ensuring the safety and comfort of his clients were truly commendable.
The trek itself was a test of physical endurance, as we navigated steep and rugged terrain, crossed suspension bridges over roaring rivers, and ascended to high altitudes. Mingma was always there to offer encouragement and support, providing valuable tips on acclimatization and pacing to help us adjust to the altitude and prevent altitude sickness.
One of the highlights of the trek was reaching Annapurna Base Camp itself. As we stood surrounded by towering snow-capped peaks, including Annapurna I, the 10th highest mountain in the world, I was filled with a sense of awe and wonder at the beauty of nature. Mingma shared stories and legends about the mountains, adding a cultural dimension to the experience that enriched my understanding of the region.
Throughout the trek, Mingma went above and beyond to ensure that we had a comfortable and memorable journey. From arranging cozy teahouse accommodations to preparing delicious meals that kept us energized, he took care of every detail with professionalism and care. His deep respect for the environment was evident in his commitment to leaving no trace and preserving the natural beauty of the Himalayas.
In addition to his technical skills as a guide, Mingma's cheerful personality and sense of humor made the trek a truly enjoyable and fun experience. From the moment I contacted the tour operator, I felt at ease. Their staff responded promptly, demonstrating deep knowledge and genuine passion for every historical site. Our itinerary included Petra, Wadi Rum, the Dead Sea and more—each destination exceeded my expectations. The guide was engaging, patient, and fluent in both English and Arabic; they shared stories of ancient Nabateans, Ottoman heritage, and Bedouin tradition in a way that made me feel connected, not just like a tourist. Accommodations were comfortable, clean, and well‑chosen; meals were authentic Jordanian cuisine, often family‑run restaurants with warm hospitality. Transportation was safe and comfortable, with thoughtful rest stops. The pace was balanced—neither rushed nor sluggish—allowing moments to reflect, take photos, or simply breathe in the beauty. I appreciated their flexibility too: a detour to a local market was welcomed, even though not in the original plan. This was an amazing trip and a lovely way to see India, the drivers and tour guides were fabulous and knew their stuff! They were flexible and took in your needs as well go ensure you saw what you wanted.

Prior to completing our EBC trek we did a lot of research into different companies, and are so happy we decided to go with this tour operator. From first communication with Dil, any questions we had he answered in a timely manner and on meeting him for our pre-trip meeting, he was super friendly, knowledgeable and really cares about his customers.
Our trip was planned very well and there were no hiccups with the logistics. We met our guide Amar Gurung and porter Suk at Lukla and we instantly knew we were in very capable hands. Amar was a great guide, an extremely caring person and had our health and welfare as his top priority. I unfortunately got sick with food poisoning on the 4th day in Namche Bazaar, but knew I was in very safe hands with Amar, and we continued our trek. Suk our porter is amazing and so strong and met us every morning with a smile. We enjoyed getting to know both of them and hearing about their lives, families, traditions etc. We not only left the trek, completing our goal of getting to Everest BC but we made friends for life in Amar and Suk.
I would strongly recommend anybody looking at booking a trek picks this company as nothing was too much trouble for them, everything was arranged well and everybody is super caring and knowledgeable :) Ask for Amar and Suk if you want the best experience!
