Every day was jam-packed with awesomeness. A special nod to our travel expert, who didn't just plan our trip but made it happen with style. His quick replies and round-the-clock support were the real MVP – seriously, saved us a ton of dough and hustle. Lodging was on point, especially our stays at the Lapis Hotel and Lasenta Hotel. Comfy beds, great views, and service that made us feel like VIPs. And our driver got us around with the smoothest of rides. Our guide, filled with facts, fun, and super friendly. The grub was special, especially that cooking class in Hoi An where we got to roll up our sleeves and mix it up with the local flavors. Those limestone cliffs in Ha Long Bay were great! My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our time on this tour! The scenery throughout was incredible, and it was a great contrast to time spent in India’s North visiting the Golden Triangle. Walking in Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, a tour of a spice farm, and time on the houseboat in the backwaters were particular highlights. Pacing of the trip was good, with multiple nights in some of the towns, in between longer drives. Our driver, Noufel, had a good grasp of English, and was very helpful. The tour company and their staff were also very communicative via WhatsApp, and checked in throughout to ensure everything was going well. Our hotels were comfortable and served good food. Most had AC (though it wasn’t really needed in Munnar due to the altitude). Visiting in Summer, there wasn’t so much wildlife, but the scenery everywhere was still amazing!

My partner and I had the most amazing experience with this local travel specialist. We completed the three high passes + EBC trail, with my partner even going on to summit Island Peak (successfully!). Our guide Kanchha Tamang made sure we had the best experience - a well planned itinerary to ensure we acclimatised properly, looking out for any signs of AMS, looking after us when we both got sick with viruses on the trail. We had flexibility to change our itinerary a bit to maximise our chance of the best views as we were walking quicker than expected. Kanchha always made sure we had fun, made great memories, learned lots about the culture and history of the regions we were in, and supported us so well through what can be a pretty challenging few weeks on the trail. We miss him already! Special shout-out to our amazing porter Jiban, without whom the trek would not have been possible and for whom we are so grateful. And another special mention to Rajendra who managed our trip and who goes truly above and beyond for his clients. When we mentioned to Kanchha we were interested in exploring Pokhara after our trek had finished, he called Rajendra who then arranged everything for us (flights, accomodation, recommendations for activities, booked us in for paragliding). When we got stranded in Lukla for a few days due to grounded planes, it is due to the tireless efforts of Kanchha & Rajendra that we were able to get out of the mountains on a helicopter and continue our holiday.

D'entrada perquè en Gokul i alguns dels seus treballadors parlen molt bé el castellà i ens han ajudat amb totes les barreres lingüístiques que teníem tant a dins com a fora de l'hotel i en les visites/excursions. En Gokul i el seu Staff són encantadors. Tenen un hotel que està situat en una zona molt cèntrica a prop de Thamel i de la parada de busos per anar a Pokhara/Chitwan. L'espai és molt bonic i tranquil. Les habitacions són molt còmodes. I ens ha agradat molt en relació qualitat preu. Ens han ajudat amb tot el que ens feia falta. Les excursions i visites guiades eren planejades per l'agència d'en Gokul i han estat una experiència increïble. El guía (en Siri) ens ha explicat fins l'últim detall de les històries de la ciutat. I l'excursió a Chitwan que ens ha planejat en Gokul ha estat una passada! Dues nits increïbles en una mena de resort amb piscina (molt bo qualitat preu) per viure l'experiència plena del safari i altres activitats en el Parc Natural. En definitiva, en Gokul i el seu Staff ens han permès viure l'experiència nepalí en plena essència!
