My boyfriend and I decided to do this trek and jump straight in the deep end with not much trekking experience let alone at altitude. We couldn't have been happier with Dawa our guide and Ravindra our porter. Right from our pickup at the airport all the way through to our final dinner in Kathmandu, we were always looked after so well. Dawa was also very experienced and knew a lot about the circuit as well as the history and culture of Nepal. We learnt so much and are so pleased we this trek.

The Annapurna circuit trek was incredible. Our guide Raju (pics attached) made it so special- he was the best guide ever. Nima our porter was also excellent, very kind always putting us first. We felt very well looked after. A couple of days in I fell ill, but Raju put my needs at the forefront. He made sure I was safe at all times, constantly checking my oxygen levels and breathing, I felt very safe. In his supply’s he had some medication which cleared the illness. If it wasn’t for Raju’s preparation I don’t think I would have been able to finish the trek- I am so grateful The views and trekking routes were spot on. Raju was very knowledgable telling us about the mountains but also giving us space to walk together- he had the perfect balance. The guest houses were excellent, much better than I had expected with a private room at all of the locations. Excellent food options too, 3 large meals a day, we weren’t going to go hungry! Everything you need is included. Breathtaking, well organised, the best guide. Nepal is an incredible country. A trip of a lifetime. Thank you Raju, Nima. I highly recommend this trip. We had an excellent tour guide: helpful, informed, receptive and with a good sense of humour. Most of the hotels were excellent....some slightly less so (Nha Trang for example). The service on the trip was exceptional. The support team of transport, bag carriage and a cycle mechanic were also excellent. Vietnam is fascinating and being on bikes we saw all aspects of the country. We saw its beauty, we saw the industry and pride of its people who were universally very welcoming. We also saw all sorts of things normal tourists, arriving in a large group with little language ability, would not be able to see. Some of the best things were stops in markets, or by rice fields, or at very basic homes or cafes. We saw a lot and visited a lot of different places: a 'grand tour' if you can do such a thing on bikes! The country certainly has issues, in my opinion, with rapid over-development (in the south particularly) with endless giant resorts half finished, being built or built and empty. It also needs to address the issue of litter. It is not alone in facing these issues! I am also certain it has the ability and determination to address them.
