Our guide really made the trip more than anything but the itinerary was very well put together with so much of such a huge country being covered in such a short time. This is my first trip travelling like this and it is by far the best holiday I've ever had, I feel like I made genuine friends with all my companions and never felt lonely despite arriving in the country on my own.

I had a beautiful experience during 16 days in Kathmandu and trekking to EBC with this local travel specialist. Since the pickup at airport, support with hotel , gear shopping’s. My guide Kumar was also excellent and very professional, I couldn’t made it successfully without him and all support provided. This tour was a very good tour blending a mix of cities but also countryside and nature with amazing landscapes where you got to see all the main tourist attractions and was a great introduction to China. Ricky our guide was very good and went above and beyond in a lot of ways for everyone.

You’ll cross glaciers and broad plains, traverse valleys and climb high passes – discovering both the majesty of the mountains and your own potential. Embrace the sense of freedom that comes with leaving cell service behind for card games in basic (but cosy) teahouses. Plus, Intrepid partners with local mountaineering and porter welfare programs, so you can trek easier knowing that while our porters are taking care of you, there’s someone looking out for them. This is a challenging trip and involves difficult trekking at high altitudes, but the whole experience can summed up in two syllables – worth it.

Had an amazing time in Japan! The only thing we can say which really wasn’t a challenge as such, was that on our last morning we were being picked up for the airport before the hotel’s breakfast time and we had already paid for that meal. So we had to purchase breakfast elsewhere. Onsens are always a great experience. All three trips that we have booked with you previously have all been a great experience
