This was an amazing trip and a lovely way to see India, the drivers and tour guides were fabulous and knew their stuff! They were flexible and took in your needs as well go ensure you saw what you wanted.

This was a great trip full of wonderful and varied experiences plus a number of highlights including: Bodh Gaya and important Buddhist sites, Varanasi, the Taj Mahal, Shimla and The Golden Temple at Amritsar. Travelling by train proved to be fascinating and a good way to meet people, even if it was not always totally comfortable. Pemba was an excellent tour guide, caring, well organised, knowledgeable and extremely likeable. I would certainly recommend the trip as a good way to explore this part of northern India.

A total of 400 tourists are permitted to see the Taj Mahal, on or around moonlit nights, on five specific nights in a month. These nights are the full moon night itself and the two nights before and after the full moon night.

We will pick you up from your hotel or location in Jaipur at around 6:00 am and drive you to Agra in a private, air-conditioned car. Your first destination is the Unesco World Heritage site of Taj Mahal, a 17th-century mausoleum built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan for his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal.
Admire this breathtaking architectural monument from different perspectives while taking a stroll on its gardens. See its white, marble domes and pillars shimmering in the morning light. Your driver will then take you to Agra Fort, a massive, 16th-century sandstone fortress that served as a palace, fortress, and prison for Shah Jahan, the emperor behind the Taj Mahal.
Explore the maze of pavilions, mosques and courtyards inside the walls of the fort. Notice the synthesis of various architectural styles before it is time to drive back to Jaipur. I had the most amazing experience the past 20 days on this tour. It was even better than I had imagined with seeing so many different places, from temples to markets, to the desert, each place was so different! One of the highlights for me was camping in the desert which was so surreal, the staff were so helpful throughout the whole stay. Our tour guide, Som, was super friendly and I couldn?t have asked for anyone better to lead the tour! Overall, the accommodation was lovely and very clean everywhere we stayed with very friendly staff. I would definitely recommend this tour to people in the future!
