I thought after the first day of cycling I was going to hate this trip, but it got much much better. Being on the ground cycling through the dunes or with a random zebra crashing through a fence and bounding across the road in front of you is an amazing experience. I found the hotels to be of a very high standard all across the 12 day holiday. Plus, which was helpful to me all but one was on the ground floor. The penultimate hotel was very nice but my shared room was on the first floor, but Vern the tour leader carried my luggage up the stairs.

This was a great trip with a full on itinerary that ensured you saw the stunning scenery the amazing wildlife and learned about the history and culture of this interesting country. Our guide paced the tour well so we saw all the sights but had some down time as well. This is an exciting tour, covering a lot of miles, but you see and learn so much - I would really recommend it for a mix of safari, walking and sight seeing.

I enjoyed this holiday so much. The itinerary was very well balanced with a host of different activities and experiences. It was good to spend at least two nights in each location and have time to appreciate where we were staying. We have been on quite a few Exodus trips before, but this was one of the best. Some of the accommodation was very good indeed, notably the Martin House guest lodge in De Rust and the apartments in Hermanus.
