We had a fantastic experience working with Florencia and Mery from the team! From the very beginning, they were true partners in helping us craft an itinerary that felt personalized and well-balanced. Communication throughout the planning process (and during the trip itself) was also excellent. They were always responsive and proactive, and we especially appreciated the valuable updates they provided while we were traveling. For example, when a transportation strike unexpectedly happened during our trip, they stepped in to help us navigate the situation and adjust our plans smoothly. Would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for thoughtful, well-supported travel planning!
The experience in Argentina and Chile set up for my wife and I was a wonderful experience. We spent 30 days traveling much of Patagonia along with Buenos Aries and Santiago. Where there were things we would do differently after the experience, on the whole the places we saw and the things we did more than made up for some logistical issues. Mostly the trip went flawlessly. All the guides, pick-ups, tours and travels came off without a hitch. The places we saw and things we did were mostly amazing. This was due to the work put in by the team. I would recommend them with the caveat that you walk through each detail with them to make sure it is what you want or expect. As I mentioned, if we did this again we would do some things differently. Good luck on your planning and happy travels.
I first rate end-to-end experience. The route, the variations in landscape and the demands made upon the cyclist were all thoughtfully considered. The accommodation used was all very good, very clean and occasionally excellent. Our lunch stops were all interesting as we dined in local restaurants run by families. We were blessed with good weather, a fine trio of guides and a lovely group. Our support vehicle loitered around us when we were on the move and miraculously would appear under the shade of a tree with a table full of goodies and drinks. The early stages are green and lush, but as the Andes are climbed and Argentina entered, the route turns north and the landscape becomes less Alpine and more ‘high plains drifter’ and finally near desert with glacial topped volcanoes and lava fields. The Monkey Puzzel forests ate the end a cool green and beautiful treat. Both countries are calm gentle places, the driving generally very calm and where the people are kind and courteous. The Mantupechu villages and tribal lands were fascinating.
Chile is a stunning country that has something for everyone. This trip provided a wonderful insight and delivered a variety of sights and scenery: from desert and volcanoes, to lakes (and more volcanoes) then mountains and glaciers, followed for me with the legendary moai of Rapa Nui (Easter Island). As the itinerary makes clear, a significant amount of time is spent travelling (I feel I am now very familiar with Santiago airport!) but that is due to the large distances covered. There is very little 'down time' and several early starts so it is definitely not for someone who wants a relaxing holiday. However, if you enjoy spectacular views and new experiences then it ticks all the boxes. Our group of 16 got on well and, alongside our tour leader and drivers, helped to make it a fantastic holiday.
This trip covered a lot of ground in a short time frame. I (and the rest of my group) agreed that the one area of improvement would be to include a visit to the wineries and have lunch in Valparaiso.
Once again Exodus delivered. Our guides were fantastic, the bikes were well maintained, and the accommodation was for the most part great. The food was also better than some previous trips and only somewhat challenging for a gluten free/vegetarian. Power bars go a long way! Finally, the scenery was picturesque and breathtaking. Lots of lakes and Volanoes.
