Drymen Tours and Trips

It was early in the season and one or two hosteling options were not so great this time around but I suspect other venues open as the season progresses. The highland walks were fantastic!

Seamless trip logistically. Beautiful scenery. Most trails nearly empty. Be prepared not to have options at stops, as most are the hotel only with no town/market option. Scottish food is fairly monotonous, although Bridge of Orchy and Kingshouse restaurants were standouts. We spent another night at Kingshouse, but there was not much to do there.

8 day hiking trip in Scotland was well worth it. Details and tools for doing the hike were very good. Trail was harder in some areas than others. Fitness level needs to be adequate to do the hike. Some of the lodgings were of very modest quality at the beginning of the hike.

Great way to do the Way. Inns are booked along the Way and luggage is transported to each new location. Highly recommend that one do the Way in at least 7 if not 8 days. I had 2 days of 18 and 22 miles, which was a little much, but I handled it. I would recommend Walkers Britain for trip planning.

Great accommodation. Trip notes not sent before leaving home. Cumbersome to view electronically. Not written specifically for our trip. Not sure why this would be the case in with ease of producing documents. Trip notes not always written on b logical sequence.
