Wonderful experience. Elena was the best tour manager we have ever had in over 40 years of touring. Accommodations were very good and centrally located in Spain. The friendships developed we’re exceptional. I would recommend this your tour to everyone. The quality of the food was very good.

I wish our tour manager was more knowledgeable and/or shared his knowledge about the country, its vegetation, buildings, etc , while on the bus rides between venues. Otherwise, the trip was well planned and spectacular!

I enjoyed the variety of locations from city, beach, and mountain top. Touring some of Portugals industry like, cork, wine, olive oil, and sardines was good. Tour guide and drivers were all very helpful and knowledgeable to answer questions.

Tour was excellent end to end. Our tour conductor was amazing and always made sure we had a 5 star experience. Hotels were great, especially H10 branded properties and motor coach and driver were also 5 star.

My favorite experience was sailing: Set sail on the Atlantic on an absolutely spectacular day—glorious weather, open sea, towering cliffs. Then, mid-voyage, a bit of coastal drama, switching to a smaller boat … in the middle of the ocean … to explore the grottos of Lagos—arches, caves, and rocks carved by time and tide. A very good day indeed, and not a single pirate in sight.

Collette's tour to Sunny Portugal was excellent. the accommodation, mainly 2 or 3 nights' stay at very comfortable hotels, were convenient for walking to and exploring the town. Our tour guide Joao was exceptional - knowledgeable of all things Portugal and helpful in all ways: finding restaurants, sites, shopping areas, historical points of interest, to discover on our own. He had a keen sense of humor, and I appreciated his insights of the places and the people of Portugal. The itinerary of this trip covered beautiful scenery visits to winery, cork factory, ceramic artisans, as well as UNESCO heritage sites and an evening of Fado music (an optional tour). Most memorable was an optional boat tour, in perfect weather, sailing along the Algarve coast, and into the grottos in a smaller boat. I then took advantage of an extension of 4 days on Madera which was amazing - steep valleys and tall mountains and much terracing! The local tour guide there was exceptional also. The itinerary there was also well balanced with free time and memorable visits to local sites. Did I say yet that the food in Portugal was delicious - I had mainly seafood but the steak and chicken was great too - the desserts was addictive! ;-)
