My advice to anyone looking to experience South Africa, choose this adventure trip! Especially if you have younger children and teenagers, they all can enjoy this trip. As for the adults, there is so much to see and experience and watching the kids was delightful. I'd love to do another one - and I understand Shaun leads a trip that goes more to the interior of Zimbabwe to an 11th century site - that sounds right up my alley! But this trip is so worth the effort to get there and meet wonderful CEOs.

Overall, it was an excellent experience. I would recommend this hike to friends. The only thing I would change is the val veny hike which I recommend providing a bus transfer to the hotel after a long days hike. If you make this change, people might give this tour a near perfect score.

As a parent, I look at traveling right now through the lens of my child. What will she enjoy? As if she is having fun, most likely, I will too. This adveture, had the right mix of scheuduled activities, downtime, movement, and experiences. My 12 year old loved the time that she spent on the tour and fell in love with Ireland. Very happy, the tour was mostly as expected, travel was mostly smooth and we got to see and do lots of things in a month which was amazing. One thing I would rate low is the booking experience, website was down, multiple people I spoke to were completely lost (one was very helpful and she’s probably the reason I booked because I was about to give up) the itinerary disappeared afterwards and when I contacted you I spoke to another completely lost person who was massively unhelpful. no one thought to give me heads up that i need to provide evidence of onward travel for Peru and I almost didn’t make my plane, etc. overall I would say your guides on the tours are very organized compared to the people doing the bookings and providing support and you should definitely work on that.

A fantastic adventure that really transformed my previously negative view of group trips! Botswana, in particular, was absolutely stunning and GAdventures built an excellent itinerary to have an unforgettable experience in Southern Africa.
