Naples Tours and Trips

Absolutely loved this trip. The hotel was lovely and the staff were so friendly and helpful. It's not a luxury hotel so don't expect minibars and coffee makers but it is clean and comfortable and has a great bar, perfect for this sort of holiday. The walking was fabulous, quiet trails with an abundance of wildflowers and amazing views. There are a lot of steps but everyone can do these at their own pace. Our guide, Guiseppe, was great. The optional trip to Pompeii and Herculaneum was definitely well worth doing, as were the pizza and pasta nights which were great fun.

I had a lovely week with a great group and an exceptional tour leader. The agriturismo in San Lazzaro was comfortable, clean and homely. Food was simple but good and the family were friendly and welcoming. The itinerary had a good balance of walking and sight-seeing. Higlights were Ravello, the walk from San Lazzaro to Amalfi and the Walk of the Gods but it was also good to have the opportunity to visit Capri, Pompeii and Herculaneum. Satva is an excellent tour leader with a great sense of humour, good communucation and always keen to share interesting facts about the area. The icing on the cake was having a really good group of people to share the experience with. I would highly recommend this tour.

Excellent holiday with moderately difficult varied walks. Excellent Explore leader both friendly and knowledgeable. The hotel was very good with obliging staff and good food. The room was a good size with a comfortable bed and spacious en suite but small shower cubicle. The itinerary was well constructed and dovetailed with the Agri-tourismo group for travel. Two evening activities of Pizza and Pasta. making were entertain and enjoyable.

What a fabulous experience. Lovely family run hotel with good food and friendly staff. The walks were stunning, our guide was very knowledgeable and interesting and he made the whole experience fun.

This was a great trip. Our tour guide, Satva, was very kind and helpful to all members of the group. She is also an expert on the area. One caveat; it was awfully busy, but since our time there was short, we certainly made the most of it.

The best small group tour I have booked onto. The thoughtfulness of the itinerary was great, ticked off all the main bucket list spots but intertwined with really local, off the beaten path experiences. Michele was an incredible tour leader! From start to finish he brought the group together and made this holiday extremely memorable! Will definitely be be booking onto another Backroads tour for my next trip!
