Just the most wonderful stay in Stores. The generosity and kindness of the host and his family were a highlight and the walking and scenery surpassed my expectations. Truly breathtaking.

It is very packed and busy. I would recommend choosing excursions carefully to allow for a little bit of downtime. Time to relax at the pool or share a quiet dinner. Time to shop where you can try things on and make selections of special items. Perhaps a morning with a late start and a morning stroll. It is difficult to make these choices so early in the trip. I understand that tickets need to be purchased etc. that is fabulous! Just a little stretch of personal time perhaps twice in 15 days I would recommend. Would enjoy more 2 night stays and perhaps a 3 night somewhere special.

The Azores are beautiful and I enjoyed all the nature areas. The people are nice. The volcanic cave and the thermal pool was enjoyable. Whale watching and visiting Pico was well worth it.

I really enjoyed this holiday with a friendly and helpful group and an outstanding tour leader in Ester Galindo, the first to contact the group before the tour had even started. The two answers to my questions were very helpful. The one thing I liked less was a very long walk along the hard sand of a beach where the view stayed the same throughout. The hotel was very good although the views from the large balconies wasn’t special. Breakfasts were excellent -such variety and plenty. Which? magazine rates Tavira extremely highly and I have to agree. The local bakeries helped to supply something tasty for lunches.

First of all the trip leader Oriole was excellent and attentive, as was Pedro the sag driver. It was a great idea that Pedro also set a spread out for lunch every day. It was delicious and efficient. The itinerary was beautiful on the coast. Iiked that all of us went to dinner together every night. We had a group that geled. I might change the last overnight from the town we ended in to the beautiful beach town just prior to the one we ended as by the time we got to the end beach and leisure time was past.

This was a beautifully curated itinerary that provided a perfect balance of iconic highlights, cultural experiences, and free time to explore independently. The accommodations were well located, transportation arrangements were seamless, and the pace allowed us to truly enjoy each destination without feeling rushed. The combination of vibrant cities, historic landmarks, local cuisine, and scenic countryside made the journey through Spain and Portugal unforgettable. Highlights included the rich culture of Madrid, the architecture and atmosphere of Barcelona, the charm of Seville, and the stunning landscapes and hospitality throughout Portugal. The attention to detail and organization gave us confidence throughout the trip, while still allowing flexibility for personal discoveries. We would highly recommend this itinerary to anyone looking for a stylish, well-planned, and memorable experience in Spain and Portugal.
