Kenya and Rwanda Tours and Trips

this was one of the best trips of my life, and that is 100% because of the amazing tour guides ( and ) that I had throughout this whole trip. Not only were they the best at finding the animals for us, they also were so good at anticipating group needs, keeping us safe, helping us to have fun, etc. They bent over backwards to make sure I had the best trip ever and it worked. I will miss them forever. Besides that, I have never been so well fed in my life than on this tour. The hotels we stayed at had the most comfortable beds. My favorite thing was not having to think for 1 second during the trip.

This was the adventure of a lifetime, I absolutely loved it. If you're at all inclined toward a safari trip or even on the fence about it, I'd say book it now and you'll have a new favorite vacation after it's over. Between seeing all the different animals up close, seeing Kilimanjaro, visiting a tribe, the hot air balloon ride, the slum visit, the different landscapes and national parks, and just being in such an exotic location, it made for an amazing trip. After just a day or two it felt like we'd already experienced an entire trip's worth, but we were only 20% done at that point. I'd also say absolutely do both the Kenya and Tanzania portions. You're going all the way to Africa so you ought to take advantage of doing as much as you can while you're there.

It was a near perfect trip. Our guides Robert and Umar were knowledgeable guides who looked after us superbly. Even the rough road conditions could not lessen our enjoyment during the trip. The accommodation settings were ideal because they were in amongst the forest and wildlife which were on our doorsteps and plentiful. Local people were friendly and unassuming, even the Batwa tribe were adorable after what they had been through. All and all, a memorable holiday.

Thanks to the tour operator flexibility, we actually did a 12-day tour of Kenya and Tanzania and it was fabulous. Our two guides, Brian and Elly, were fun, friendly, flexible and knowledgeable. We shared a lot of laughs and developed a strong bond in our short time together, and we saw every animal we'd hoped to see (plus some) thanks to them. Customer service was excellent. They responded to emails in a timely manner, changed the schedule around a bit so that we could fly into and out of Nairobi, booked a hotel for the night we arrived without even being asked, and upgraded our accommodations.

I had an amazing time in both countries and even got to see the big 5 !! The tour guides I had in both Kenya and Tanzania were both incredible, they made sure we were having fun and tried their best to get us to see what we wanted to see! Big shoutout to both and . I highly recommend this trip. The accommodations, guide, and activities were all top notch, especially for the price point. Kenya is a beautiful country with welcoming people and incredible animals to be discovered! It’s a fast paced tour with lots to do, and the only thing I would do to improve this trip agenda would be to add another full day at Masai Mara (but keep everything else the same). It was just so magical, I’d of loved another day (I guess I’ll just have to come back!). That being said, the other activities such as the masaii village, mirrors of hope tour, elephant sanctuary etc. were all so incredible too. Don’t miss out! Do this trip!!
