The "Best Of Borneo" trip starts in Kuching and ends in Sepilok. It is a wildlife tour that takes 20 days taking you through Bako National Park, Mulu National Park, Turtle Island and 10 other destinations in Malaysia. "Best Of Borneo" is a guided small group trip that includes accommodation, transport, meals and others.

CANCELLATION

No additional cancellation fees apply for this Best of Borneo tour. You can cancel the tour up to 58 days prior departure and avoid paying the full amount, but your deposit paid is non-refundable. No refund applies for cancellations within 57 days of departure.

Payment

For any tour departures within 22 September 2024, full payment is required. For tours that depart later than 22 September 2024, a deposit is required to confirm this tour, and the remaining balance will be charged 57 days before trip departure.

Travel Insurance

Best of Borneo tour requires that you have adequate and valid travel insurance covering medical and personal accidents, including repatriation costs and emergency evacuation. World Nomads offers travel insurance for independent travelers and intrepid families.

Is this trip right for you

It’s best to pack light for this trip. There is a strict 20 kg (checked in baggage) and 7 kg (hand luggage) maximum luggage limit on the included internal flights. Excess luggage will incur extra fees to the traveller.
When staying in the National Park, accommodation is multishare and can be basic. The unqiue atmosphere and wonderful location more than make up for this though.
Climbing Mt Kinabalu is a challenge that shouldn't be underestimated. The elevation is approximately 4095 m and we rise early to summit in the dark to witness the sunrise. It's an unforgettable climb for sure, but you'll need an excellent fitness level to complete it.
