We all had a wonderful time, the whole group got along and we made life long friends. It was fast, we saw a lot of beautiful places. Our driver was excellent, his name was Chris and our tour leader was Martina ""Marty"" who had a wealth of information since she has traveled the world visiting every country in this world… amazing! This was our first ever multi-day bicycle trip. We loved it. The Danube cycle path offered a variety of scenery…the beautiful river, forests, rural and agricultural areas, small towns, cities, ancient and modern places. The hotels that were arranged for us were lovely and the luggage transport worked flawlessly. We loved the bountiful Austrian style breakfasts. Our only complaint was that one bike was difficult to pedal for the first two days, until we had it repaired at a bike shop. The chain was rubbing on the chain guard and the front wheel was overtightened. Later, as we were approaching Vienna, the handlebars on that bike suddenly became loose and swiveled 30 degrees, which could have caused a serious accident. So we recommend that the mechanics who provide the bikes do a much more thorough job of inspecting and testing each one, as if their spouse was going to ride it for 210 miles.

This was the trip of a lifetime—it opened up the world to me and gave me more confidence to solo travel. I LOVED having the itinerary planned out and all of the logistics handled by our excellent trip manager. It helped me turn my brain off and truly enjoy my vacation. Also was so relaxing to travel between cities by train. We had the perfect balance of planned activities and free time that helped us pack just the right amount of action into each city. I especially loved Free Time Add-Ons like the Moulin Rouge and a bonus cruise on the Seine to see the Eiffel Tower shine (arranged by our trip manager when our plans hit a snag!) Would 100% recommend to anyone looking to explore and connect with others!
