Insight vacations were excellent. Optional extras that we chose to do were very good. Felt travel guide and driver always had our best interests at heart. Our travel guide even stopped a person from being pick pocketed in Venice. 13 days was perfect. Sometimes thought it would have been nice to stay a bit longer but that was only because of the beautiful places we visited. Hotels and baggage was well organised. Had a wonderful time on this holiday!!

The itinerary was great except for the final day which was Palermo and quite the disappointment, hotel included. All the hotels we stayed in were not four or five star. They were much lower. Some hotels we even shared with Trafalgar customers and insight is meant to be above Trafalgar so that was quite disappointing, having said this, we had an amazing tour director and a very safe driver.

Having taken five trips now with various companies this trip was the best by far our tour guide Remi and bus driver Gennaro were exceptional - with so much to see and so much to do it was wonderful - so many spectacular photo ops hard press to decide what to publish 🙄

This was an amazing holiday with Explore. The scenery was spectacular and the itinerary varied. Denis our tour leader was bouncing with enthusiasm and was always looking out for us. We were a fairly small group of 9, most in our 60s but fit, and we gelled well together. This was a holiday with a wow around every corner.

Tour is very busy if you do all the optional tours. Expect a lot of daily walking. There are lots of stairs - especially at Mont St Michel. At Chateau de la Bourdaisiere, not everyone stays in the Chateau, some stay in the stables. Deauville Hotel included meal was not nice , dry, reconstituted veal. Welcome dinner and farewell dinner of both tours is on the same day. If going to see Aiguille de Midi at Chamonix book tickets on the website in advance as tickets were sold out. I had previously been there before, so was not too disappointed.

Great itinerary! We saw so much! Absolutely breathtaking! The hotel in Rome was one thing I was disappointed in. Very antiquated. I would recommend partnering with a new hotel. Philip our travel guide was amazing and very accommodating. Highly recommend this tour.
