It’s all about the synergy between the Travel Director and Coach driver. However you can drop/bypass the “Old Punch Bowl” in Dublin on the first day. The meal was rushed and not the best, and seating was extremely cramped. Like really cramped. Additionally my wife’s 1st glass of wine came out of a bottle (good wine ) but her 2nd glass was delivered in a new glass but was junk (suspect poor quality ). Not sure Trafalgar is getting their monies worth from that particular site. Seriously find another venue other than the Old Punch Bowl - it’s over rated.

Best trip. So many delightful historical things to see. Never a boring time. All the sights were all varied to please any person. Love the scenery, the food, the people, the music. I cannot say 1 bad thing. Even the rain made me feel I had seen all of what Ireland is. Will definitely return. P. Hamilton

A good tour to get a taste of Ireland. Not too rushed when you take 12 days. Our guide was excellent, bounded with the tour group and had the group get along well together, which made the trip very enjoyable.

I really enjoyed this experience with our tour guide Sally and bus driver, Michael. We were shown some amazing sights in Ireland and enjoyed some wonderful entertainment in an Irish style. The scenery was spectacular. I would thoroughly recommend this itinerary to anyone who would like to enjoy what Ireland has to offer.

The trip was great! Landscaping was beautiful and especially the rainbows that you saw. The hotels and employees were very nice! Joel, our tour guide was awesome and so was our chauffeur, Tom . Joel was so informative about Ireland and Scotland. I just wish I could remember everything he talked about.! The history is interesting I think they went beyond and above for us on the trip. The weather was tricky ! But overall, it was a a nice trip! The downside was I wish I got to spend more time at all the towns that we stopped at. The quaint little towns were interesting. I understand that we were on a timeline. The other thing is, people should be considerate when they are sick and wear a mask on the bus.. By the end of the trip I was sick Thank you

This itinerary had a nice mix of seeing irelands countryside, seeing tourist destinations, a touch of local sites, and free time to explore on our own.Tamara was kind and knowledgeable. We were impressed with Stevie’s driving and knew he would keep us safe. I also appreciate their daily planning to get us to crowded sites before it became crowded. Our only negative on the trip was our flight booked by Trafalgar was cancelled by Aer Lingus. Trafalgar was unable to help us with changing our flights. We booked a new flight ourselves and arrived in time for the bus tour to start but we missed our tour of Dublin and we paid for a hotel room we never were in.

Travel Tips

  • On your Dublin private tours, use public transportation to get around. Finding parking spots is not only difficult in Dublin, they are also expensive. So, it is a good idea to make use of the city’s comprehensive network of buses, trams, and trains on your Dublin tour.
  • Plan your Dublin trips ahead, as popular attractions in the city can get crowded, especially in the peak season. Booking tickets at least two to four weeks in advance can save time and avoid disappointment.
  • While on a Dublin food tour, make sure to try the local cuisine, including traditional dishes such as Irish stew, colcannon, and soda bread, as well as fresh seafood available in the city's many seafood restaurants.
  • Pack a raincoat or umbrella and comfortable footwear when traveling in Dublin, where the weather can turn at any time.
