The first hotel in Munnar was extremely Spartan and had nothing at all of western cuisine. It was of dubious sanitation and yet we relocated to a magnificent hotel within walking distance! Of the five residences, they ranged in our view from one star, a two star, a three star and two four stars. If the tour operator can fix this shortcoming then the joys of Kerala can be fully appreciated.
