I just want to thank all Lima Tours staff for the wonderful trip we had. Everything was perfect.It is hard to pick only one place to say we like the most. Each place we have visited has something that makes it unique. Specially, with the information provided by the guides. All were great!Our journey started in Lima, a huge city with its contrasts. On the first day we had enough time to take a walk around Miraflores from our hotel to Larcomar Mall.Next day during the tour, we had the privilege of seeing the Sunday Easter parade at Plaza de Armas in front of the Cathedral. The carpets made of flowers were beautiful! We walked through the historical center, we visited the Convento, Casa de Aliaga and the Larco Museum with our guide who made the visits more interesting.We traveled to Pisco to take the small plane to see the Nazca Lines. Seeing the lines was a dream that came true. The hotel was great, the room view of the sunset was epic. Hundreds of photos taken.Next day, Islas Ballestas. I have never seen so many birds at the same time. How rich the reserve is!After that, we enjoyed our free time at the beautiful hotel and had lunch at a local restaurant in Paracas with our guide and driver, we went back to Lima. One more opportunity to taste Peruvian culinary.The following day we arrived in the picturesque Cusco city. We visited archeological sites and the Cathedral. Our guide was very conscious of our struggle to breath in such high altitude, so we walked slowly with frequent stops. Perfect!Early in the morning, we travel to Ollantaytambo to take the Vistadome train to Aguas Calientes. The train ride is a must to do in Peru.In Aguas Calientes, we met our guide who took us to a bus ride until Machu Picchu.Wow! Machu Picchu is the highlight of the trip and it was saved to the end, now I can understand why. It is hard to express in words the emotion felt when we saw the citadel at the first time. Love it! Our guide new all the best spots to take photos where didn?t have too many tourists around. All explanation given to us just made the tour more interesting. I am still thinking how ancient Peruvian people were so smart, how they knew so much!!Too soon we need to go back home, but our Peru trip will be in our memories forever.Thank you!

"We did the 2D/1N trip to Machu Picchu. Our tour guides David and Ciprian are truly great people and made sure everyone was taken care of. Ciprian was carrying someone’s backpack to help them out, for the entire 8 mile hike. I got a stomach flu during the second morning and had to miss part of the 2nd day but David gave me a personal tour of Machu Picchu when I started feeling better. That’s when I found out how truly knowledgeable David was because I asked so many questions and David gave detailed and extremely educated responses. Because of this, I have a much deeper understanding and appreciation of the Incas and their culture. David didn’t have to give me a make up tour of Machu Picchu, but he did so out of kindness and care. Besides the gorgeous views all around and our exceptional tour guides, the next highlight for me was the lunch. We had lunch around 1pm and we were all surprised at how they managed to cook such amazing food without a kitchen. It was better food than some restaurants we had in Cuzco. There was avocado dip and fried wanton, chicken + mango ceviche, lomo saltado, potatoes, battered trout, apple water, various vegetables, and apple pie. The food was truly *chefs kiss* and maybe the best food we’ve had on a hike ever. I highly recommend this tour and our tour guides David and Ciprian"

This was my first time in South America, and honestly, this tour was everything I hoped it would be and more. I was a bit nervous doing it solo but the small group setup made it super easy to meet people. The itinerary was well-balanced between structured tours and free time. Cartagena was absolutely beautiful like stepping into a painting. The Coffee Triangle was a surprising.. got to try some of the freshest coffee I’ve ever had. Bogota cooler, more urban. The views from Monserrate were incredible. Then we flew to Peru, and Machu Picchu... I still don’t have words. It was emotional. The guides were amazing and knew so much history. Lake Titicaca was peaceful and surreal. Would 100% recommend this tour to anyone who loves a mix of nature, history, and culture. Take altitude sickness seriously, though — drink the coca tea!

We had an absolutely incredible time in Peru thanks to these guys. We arrived in Lima and visited Huacachina, Cusco, Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu and Rainbow Mountain. We decided to include a city tour of Cusco instead of the Humantay Lake hike as this would have been to strenuous for one of our friends, and this decision was perfect. It was a great recommendation by Erik who helped us with our itinerary. During our time in Peru, Pilar was exceptional with 24/7 assistance, helping us make reservations in restaurants and being there for us no matter what. Superb! All the sites visited were worth it. Not too many people (except from Machu Picchu which was very crowded of course) and what we loved was that we arrived before the crowds. The company promised big time on that and they OVERDELIVERED! This was by far the best tour we made before heading out to Peru. The trip included getting picked up from Airbnb and dropped off at the Vistadome train station. Then from the train station to the bus up to Machu Picchu. There was always a guide from the tour company waiting for us. We were never left to wander what the next step was. Our guide at Machu Picchu was very knowledgeable on the history of Machu Picchu and was able to answer all our questions. After Machu Picchu it included a lunch buffet which we also enjoyed. Overall we were left with a beyond great experience.
