Today the remaining 80 miles of embankment forms Britain’s longest archaeological monument and the basis of a famous walk: Crossing the border between England and Wales more than 10 times, the Offa’s Dyke National Trail path follows some of the finest scenery in both countries for 177 miles (285 km). We have really enjoyed the tour, especially the tour guide, Brando. He was very informative and always there to help. He guided us well through the whole tour and we could see that he had a lot of experience and knowledge of the area and history. We drove through beautiful areas and visited all the main tourist attractions. The hotels were in good locations and there were no complaints.

A wonderful trip around Wales with Back Roads. So much packed into this short time. Thank you to our Guide John and Driver Dan who were both very professional, cheerful, fun and knowledgeable. And always there to assist and for anyone with minor issues. Personally I enjoyed the mix of activities, the accommodation choices and flexibility when this was possible. I would recommend the Wonder of Wales to anyone who is thinking about exploring Wales with a small group and where the stress of organising is taken over for you so you can sit back and enjoy the experience.

Wonder of Wales tour was lovely. We went to many different spots to see the different parts of this beautiful place and stayed in fascinating hotels.
