This tour truly gave us the opportunity to experience Germany. From gorgeous countryside, to bustling cities, from important lessons of history to current events, our tour guide and the itinerary were exactly what we were hoping for.

Our 12-day Germany tour was absolutely fantastic! The itinerary was so well-planned, allowing us to see and experience so much of the country in a short time. We were lucky to share the journey with a wonderful group of 42 fellow travelers, which made it even more enjoyable. Maddy, our tour guide, was outstanding—knowledgeable, engaging, and fun—and Attila, our driver, was simply amazing. This trip exceeded our expectations in every way!

Compared to other Trafalgar Tours that we have joined in the past, the Best of Germany tour was also well-curated. The optional tours were reasonable, although not as enjoyable as our previous other tours. The Fab Four & Hamburg Harbor Cruise left much to be desired. The harbor tour was more about the container ships and not much to view. Berlin and Munich had more to offer in terms of optional experiences. Unfortunately for us on this trip, the tour of Neuschwanstein Castle was cancelled due to landslides in the area. However, our Tour Director, Maddy, was able to remedy the situation by taking us to Linderhof Castle in Bavaria which turned out to be just as amazing. Our Tour Director, Maddy and bus driver, Attila were both awesome! They made our tour so much more enjoyable. Their attention to their guests was outstanding. Maddy is very knowledgeable about each area that we toured and Attila drove us around in absolute safety. They both have great personalities. The rest stops during the journeys between the cities were too short. More time should be allocated for the guests to enjoy a meal. The hotels that were assigned on this tour were a mixed bag of average to 4-star level. Several of the hotels did not have appropriate air-conditioning which caused some minor discomfort during our rest time. Some hotels offered water-filling stations, some hotels had convenience stores nearby to purchase bottled water. Our least favourite hotel was the Sheraton Offenbach Hotel, where the tour began and ended. It's old and the room we stayed in needed some update. The location is also quite far from the Frankfurt City Centre where most of the self-touring would be possible within walking distance if an advance two-day stay is planned.

Good that it only covered cover for countries. Would have liked the local experts to give us a little less history and a little more current events about their countries.

it is very different from other parts of Europe. It is about a people who came to terms with eachother after centuries of warring and now live peacefully with eachother. through this tour I learned about the differences but also the similarities between the Capitals

I think that we saw amazing things and learnt a lot BUT I think that the tour tried to fit too much into the schedule and consequently there were too many very early starts. It became quite pressured.
