Cambodia Tour Reviews
Honest insights from past guests on our 6-Day Cambodia tours
This is a very good trip if you want to combine moderate cycling with the chance to travel reasonable distances Cambodia. Our tour guide was excellent in providing opportunities to see local culture and provide insights into the history of Angkor temples and politics. The bikes were well maintained and the routes were generally good, although I wasn't expecting to ride through so many urban areas. We learnt so much about Cambodia and enjoyed every minute of the trip. Overall I would be happy to recommend this trip!
This is a fantastic way to experience and compare the cuisine, landscape and culture of Cambodia. Angkor Wat was the undoubted highlight of the my trip. Cycling round the complex is a great way to view these amazing temples. Our guides provide a really good insight into the history of Cambodia. The bikes were well-maintained. Cycling is quite easy since it's completely flat, although the heat can make it a bit more tiring. Overall was fantastic experience.
I wanted to explore Cambodia and this was probably the best easy to do it. We explored Cambodia mostly through back roads and tracks so got to see how people lived and worked. My favourite memory will be cycling along responding to the childrens shouts of hello! The support team are superb and we certainly are well along the way trying traditional meals and restaurants. The support team are experienced and look after you well, making sure you have enough water and food for the journey. We received tips for what to do at each stop. Visiting the NGO along the way opened by eyes to the issues here and how hard some people are working to make improvements and give children a better future. I will certainly be booking another trip. There cant be a better way to explore than by bike with a great support team and like minded travellers
This trip is perfect if you are looking to see the highlights of Cambodia in a short amount of time and on a budget! The itinerary, our guide, the food and accommodation were all great and everything was so well organized. Would highly recommend!
Our tour guide was outstanding. He was capable, friendly and humorous, and had an extensive knowledge about this very troubled region's history, governance, and culture of Cambodia. Moreover, he remained completely unflappable throughout the tour and I truly enjoyed learning more about the local culture from him.
This tour felt like a crash course in Southeast Asia, but in a good way. I wasn’t sure how much ground we could realistically cover in just over a week but this trip proved you don’t need a month to experience something meaningful. Everything was well-organized. What stood out most to me was how different Vietnam and Cambodia felt, even though they’re neighbors. Hanoi was buzzing with life..scooters zipping by, food stalls everywhere, and this mix of modern and old that was fascinating to watch. Our guide helped us navigate the chaos in a way that made it feel approachable rather than overwhelming. Then, just when things felt fast-paced we got a breather on the Ha Long Bay cruise. Being out on the water was peaceful, the views were unreal. In Cambodia, Angkor Wat was the big draw, and yes, it was absolutely worth it. But what I didn’t expect was how much I enjoyed the in-between moments. And while there’s always a lot of walking on these kinds of trips, the pace felt doable, even for those of us who aren’t exactly as young as me (53 :p) Would I do it again? Definitely. The trip left me feeling like I got a true taste of two cultures.
