day 1Dublin to Belfast & Portstewart

Dublin - Belfast - Portstewart. Your Irish adventure begins as we leave Dublin and travel north to Belfast, Northern Ireland’s dynamic and culturally rich capital.
Our first visit is Titanic Belfast, the award-winning museum built on the very slipways where RMS Titanic was designed and launched. We explore nine interactive galleries that trace the story of the ‘Ship of Dreams’ - from her construction to her tragic maiden voyage.
We then discover Belfast through its flavours on a guided food tour. As we sample some of Northern Ireland’s best-loved dishes, we learn about the city’s history, humour and creative spirit, gaining insight into the character of modern Belfast.
In the afternoon, we follow the spectacular Causeway Coastal Route to the seaside town of Portstewart. With its sweeping beach and fresh Atlantic air, it is the perfect place to unwind after a memorable first day.
After, our adventure takes us further north to Portstewart on the famous Causeway Coast, Scotland feels just within reach!
Total driving time: 3 hours & 45 minutes.
Meeting Point: The Ashling Hotel Dublin, 10 - 13 Parkgate St, Stoneybatter, Dublin 8, D08 P38N at 08:00.
