Your initial stopover will be at the Sultan Grand Mosque, an impressive structure that ranks among the largest mosques in the Middle East. The grandeur of this site will astound you.

Following your visit to the mosque, you will make your way to the Muttrah Corniche and Souq, a lively marketplace where you can uncover ancient and traditional handicrafts, including the famed Omani daggers. Don't forget to explore the local shops for souvenirs to take home as mementos.

Next on your cultural journey is the Al Zubair Museum, a treasure trove of Omani history and the evolving Arab culture over the centuries. It offers a window into the rich heritage of this nation.

Upon arrival, you'll transfer to a small boat that allows you to delve into the wonders of this valley nestled between the cliffs. After a hearty breakfast, your journey continues. You'll depart for the Sur Dhow factory, where you'll have the unique opportunity to witness the craft of creating Arab Dhow cruises. This experience offers a glimpse into the traditional boat-making methods.

From the charming city of Sur, you'll set your course towards one of the most renowned wadis in the region, Wadi Bani Khalid. This wadi stands out for its clear, deep blue waters, a rare characteristic among Omani wadis as it sustains water throughout the year. The mountain springs channel their water into the oasis, where it nurtures the flourishing date palms. Your time here will be a refreshing and serene encounter with the beauty of nature.

Next on your adventure is the Wahiba Sands Desert, famed for its vibrant, multicolored sand dunes, which range from ebony black to honey golden and even pristine white. You'll set off for Ibra Old Village. Ibra is known for its historic Al Mudayrib and Ibra villages, each boasting watchtowers that stand proudly atop hills, overlooking the picturesque landscapes below. These watchtowers tell stories of days gone by and are emblematic of the area's rich history.

As you venture further, you'll make a stop at the Birkat Al Mauz ruins. This village presents a captivating blend of history and nature. Amidst the mountains, you'll find ancient ruins, while the village is encircled by lush banana plantations. The sight is a testament to the harmonious coexistence of history and nature, where the remnants of the past share the landscape with thriving vegetation.

Lunch will be enjoyed on the road as you continue your journey to Nizwa. Here, a true gem awaits, the spectacular Nizwa Fort. This fortress boasts a massive Circular Cannon Tower, making it one of the most impressive forts in all of Oman. It is now a museum that offers a unique glimpse into the history and heritage of the region. From 5:00 am to approximately 10:00 am each morning, the souq comes alive with a diverse array of vendors showcasing their wares. Here, you can find everything from fresh fish, meat, and vegetables to pottery, jewelry, and a wide range of handicrafts and souvenirs. The authenticity of this old market hall is a rarity, and it offers an unforgettable shopping experience.

Finally, you'll journey to your hotel in Nizwa, where you can unwind and reflect on the day's adventures in the comfort of your accommodation.

After an early morning breakfast, we will embark on a journey to explore the breathtaking Jebel Shams Mountains, often referred to as the "Grand Canyon of Oman." Our first stop will be Misfat Al Abriyeen, a village set amidst a stunning landscape with terraced date palm plantations. This is a unique sight in Oman, as most palm groves are found in the plains. The village is adorned with ancient houses and a watchtower in ruins, perched on the mountain, adding to the picturesque scene.

Our journey will then take us to Al Hamra, one of Oman's oldest villages, known for its clay houses that date back up to 400 years. Here, you will have the opportunity to explore the old village and witness the charm of ancient mud houses. At the viewpoint, you'll capture the natural beauty of Oman in a memorable photograph.

Having explored the natural wonders of Oman, we will make our way back to the capital city, Muscat. There, we will conclude our journey with a Farewell Dinner at one of the city's finest and renowned restaurants. After dinner, you will be comfortably dropped off at your hotel.
