Get ready to experience the captivating journey through Norway, where mountains, glaciers and deep coastal fjords await. Your adventure begins in Bergen, the gateway to the fjords, offering the perfect blend of natural beauty, rich culture and exciting urban life. Explore iconic landmarks and indulge in local delicacies at the renowned fish market. Next, journey through the majestic Sognefjord, also known as the "King of the Fjords," and marvel at its stunning glaciers. Your sightseeing continues with a scenic cruise and train ride from Balestrand to Oslo, offering breathtaking views as you travel through the fjords and mountains. In Oslo, dive into the city's vibrant history by visiting Frogner Park, the Viking Ship Museum, the Royal Palace, City Hall, and Akershus Fortress. If time allows, enjoy some last-minute shopping or explore the cafés and bars along the lively Karl Johan’s Street.
day 1 - Bergen Arrival
Welcome to The Kingdom of Norway – a country with the most beautiful fjords on Earth! Arrive in Bergen and transfer to the hotel on your own. No transfers from the airport have been included, however, we can offer these at an additional cost. Transfer by shuttle bus can also be pre-booked. Rest of the day at leisure.

day 2 - Bergen
Today, after breakfast, discover Bergen – the world heritage city. Bergen is the Gateway to the Fjords of Norway. As a UNESCO World Heritage City and a European City of Culture, the Bergen region has the ideal combination of nature, culture, and exciting urban life all year around. At 10:00 AM, meet your local guide at the reception of your hotel and enjoy a walking tour of the city of Bergen. Pass through the most emblematic places such as the Hanseatic Bryggen, with the church of Mary, the Hakon fortress and the famous fish market. You can visit the Fløibanen Funicular, which will take you to the top of Mountain Fløyen, for an overall view of the city.

Enjoy a scenic ride on the Fløibanen Funicular to the top of Mount Fløyen, where you’ll take in breathtaking views over Bergen and its surrounding fjords. After descending, visit the Bergen Fish Market for a delightful food tasting experience, sampling fresh local seafood and traditional Norwegian delicacies in a lively, authentic atmosphere.
Optional: Fjord Cruise from Bergen to Mostraumen
Embark on a breathtaking fjord cruise from Bergen to Mostraumen, sailing through narrow fjords, towering cliffs, and cascading waterfalls. This round-trip journey showcases the dramatic beauty of Western Norway’s landscapes. Get close to nature, spot wildlife like seals and eagles and experience the raw power of the fjord’s waterfalls sometimes close enough to feel the refreshing spray.
day 3 - Bergen – Balestrand (by Cruise)
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a morning walk to Bergen port where you will embark on a cruise to Balestrand at 8:00 AM (schedule subject to change). Upon arrival in Balestrand at 11:55 AM (schedule subject to change), you will have a short walk from the port to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Enjoy the views of Sognefjord, the King of Fjords. Dinner time at the hotel will be advised by your tour escort.

day 4 - Balestrand
After your breakfast, explore the region on your own or you can opt for a pre-booked excursion to Fjærland. Dinner at the hotel.

Optional: Fjord and Glacier Tour to Fjærland (ON SIC BASIS)
Round-trip Balestrand-Fjærland, including Bøyabreen, Supphellebreen and a visit to the Norwegian Glacier Museum. You will sail through the beautiful Fjærland fjord with amazing views of the steep mountains, the green fjord itself and vibrant landscape. You will arrive at Fjærland, where the glacier meets the fjord. Here you will wait for a shuttle bus which will take you to the Norwegian Glacier Museum. Enjoy Ivo Caprino's panoramic film about Jostedalen Glacier and the fascinating exhibition. The trip continues by coach to the two glaciers – Supphellebreen and Bøyabreen – before the coach takes you back to Fjærland. The excursion concludes with a boat trip back to Balestrand. Coach to the glaciers and museum entrance are included in the round-trip fare.
day 5 - Balestrand – Flam – Myrdal – Oslo (by Cruise & Train)
The continuation of your journey on the Sognefjord today starts with a cruise. Sognefjord – the King of Norway and the longest fjord in Norway. The initial part of the fjord, called Aurlandsfjord, is a 17-kilometer arm of the world’s second-longest fjord, the Sognefjord (204 km). It is one of the most picturesque fjords in the world. Arrive in Flåm, where you will have some free time to discover this beautiful village. Departure to Myrdal by train. Myrdal station is a mountain railway station and junction, located about 13 km from the village of Flåm. Board the famous Flåmsbana – one of the steepest train lines in the world. The train journey runs through fantastic nature, past the Rallar road, steep mountains, breath-taking waterfalls and no less than 20 tunnels. It offers so many viewpoints that many feel like traveling multiple times between the mountain and the fjord. Upon arrival in Myrdal connect to the high-speed train to Oslo. Arrive in Oslo late in the evening.

04:05 PM Panoramic train from Flåm – arrive in Myrdal at 05:02 PM.
05:53 PM Bergen Railway train from Myrdal – arrive in Oslo at 10:27 or 11:00 PM.
day 6 - Oslo
Breakfast at the hotel. Meet your local guide at the hotel reception and depart for a 3-hour sightseeing of this vibrant capital city starting at 11:00 AM. Guided tour of the city including the Frogner Park with all sculptural Vigeland, the Royal Palace, City Hall, and Akershus Fortress.
Overnight in Oslo
day 7 - Oslo –
After breakfast, depending on your flight details, you can still enjoy some last-minute shopping for souvenirs, walk along the streets and explore the city of the royal family, and the main Karl Johan’s Street, with many shops, bars, and cafes. Make your own way to Oslo Airport for your return flight home. No transfers to the airport have been included, however, we can offer these at an additional cost.
