Set off from Perth on a 4-day coastal adventure through Western Australia’s wild landscapes. Stroll the Greenhead Three Bays, see the pink waters of Hutt Lagoon, and take in Kalbarri’s dramatic coastal cliffs. Explore Nature’s Window and the Skywalk in Kalbarri National Park, then head to Shark Bay for Shell Beach and the dolphins of Monkey Mia. Perth - Green Head - Geraldton - Kalbarri. You will be picked up from the Criterion Hotel in Perth at 8 AM before we depart for Greenhead, where we’ll stretch our legs on the scenic Three Bays Walk. This coastal trail offers sweeping views across secluded beaches and rugged headlands. Afterwards, you’ll have some time to enjoy lunch at Dynamite Bay before we continue north along Indian Ocean Drive, taking in striking views of the Western Australian coastline.
In the afternoon, we make a photo stop at Hutt Lagoon, better known as the Pink Lake, a vivid natural wonder coloured by algae that thrive in its salty waters. From here, we head into Kalbarri, pausing to admire the dramatic cliffs at Natural Bridge and enjoy a gentle walk at Castle Cove. Tonight, we settle in for an overnight stay in the peaceful seaside town of Kalbarri, where the Murchison River meets the Indian Ocean.

Kalbarri - Monkey Mia. Early this morning, we head into Kalbarri National Park to explore one of Western Australia's most iconic landscapes. Here, water has carved dramatic gorges through layers of ancient sandstone. We’ll visit Nature’s Window and the Kalbarri Skywalk, both offering spectacular views over the Murchison Gorge. During spring, this region comes alive with colourful wildflowers, adding another layer to its beauty.
Continuing north, we stop at the historic Billabong Roadhouse, where you can enjoy lunch and refreshments. A well-known stop along the highway, it has been welcoming travellers since 1962. This afternoon, we visit Shell Beach, a unique stretch of coastline made entirely of millions of tiny white shells — one of only a few places like it in the world.
Our day ends at Monkey Mia Dolphin Resort, where we stay right on the beach within the World Heritage listed Shark Bay area. Resident dolphins are often seen close to shore, and you’ll have free time to relax, explore the area, or hire a kayak for a paddle. Wildlife such as turtles, dugongs, emus and kangaroos are often spotted nearby.
In the evening, you have the option to join the Didgeridoo Dreaming Night Tour, which departs at 7 PM from Little Lagoon Creek on Stella Rowley Drive near Denham. This two-hour experience takes place around a campfire, where you’ll hear stories of local Aboriginal culture and history while enjoying the sounds of didgeridoo meditation under the stars.

Monkey Mia - Denham - Geraldton. Today, we will have an early start as we meet the famous dolphins of Monkey Mia. This unique wildlife experience offers the chance to observe these curious creatures up close and capture some memorable photos before the interaction wraps up around 9 AM.
Afterwards, you’ll have some free time to relax on the beach or, if you're feeling adventurous, you may choose to join a wildlife cruise. This optional tour explores the waters of Shark Bay in search of dugongs, turtles, stingrays, sea snakes, sharks, sea birds, and more.
If you’re not joining the cruise, we’ll regroup at 11 AM and make our way to Eagle Bluff, where you can look out for sharks and turtles from the elevated boardwalk. We then continue into Denham, where you’ll have time to explore the foreshore and enjoy lunch at your leisure.
Departing Denham at 1.30 PM, we begin our journey south with short stops at the Overlander Roadhouse and Galena Bridge for a scenic photo opportunity. We arrive in Geraldton by early evening and settle in for our final night by the sea.

Geraldton - Port Denison - Jurien Bay - Cervantes - Nambung National Park -Perth. After our final breakfast, we will head to the HMAS Sydney II Memorial, a moving tribute overlooking Geraldton with sweeping views of the coastline. From there, we visit the striking red and white Point Moore Lighthouse before continuing south along the coast.
Our next stop is Port Denison, where we take a short walk along the foreshore and up to the lookout for panoramic views. Continuing down Indian Ocean Drive, we pause in the seaside town of Jurien Bay to stretch our legs with a walk along the jetty.
We then make our way to Cervantes, a charming coastal town known for its fresh seafood. Here, we enjoy a delicious lunch at the well-known Lobster Shack, followed by a guided tour of their working lobster factory.
In the afternoon, we visit Nambung National Park to explore the Pinnacles Desert, a surreal landscape of limestone formations rising from the sand. After time to wander through this unique setting, we settle in for the final leg of our journey, taking in views of the countryside as we return to Perth.
