day 1 - Glasgow to the Isle of Mull
Glasgow - Glencoe - Tobermory. Leaving Glasgow, We begin our adventure with a leisurely stroll around Loch Lomond in the charming village of Luss, an ideal spot to sip coffee and hum the tune of 'Bonnie Banks of Loch Lomond.' Our driver-guide then leads us through the stunning landscapes of Glencoe, renowned as one of Scotland’s most iconic natural landmarks. This breath-taking area features steep slopes and picturesque peaks, all steeped in the poignant history of a tragic Highland clan massacre.
After a quick ferry ride across Loch Linnhe and through Morven's mountains, we arrive in Lochaline for another ferry to Mull. Our destination is Tobermory, Mull's capital, renowned for its colourful seafront houses and often hailed as one of Scotland's most picturesque harbour towns.

day 2 - Exploring Iona
We journey south to Fionnphort and board a passenger ferry to the serene island of Iona, renowned as the birthplace of Celtic Christianity. We explore the island's Abbey and museum showcasing Celtic heritage, adorned with magnificent crosses and headstones. Alternatively, we can unwind with a stroll along the tranquil sandy beaches.
In the afternoon, opt for a boat excursion to Staffa, home to Fingal’s Cave, a remarkable geological wonder dubbed 'Nature’s cathedral', offering a glimpse into abundant marine life. After a day immersed in nature, we return to Tobermory for the night. (Staffa trip costs approx GBP £40, payable locally).

day 3 - Oban and Kilmartin Glen
Tobermory - Oban - Glasgow. Leaving Tobermory, we journey south to Craignure for a brief ferry ride to Oban on the mainland, Argyll's largest town. Savour the fantastic local seafood and explore this charming Victorian harbour town.
Next, we venture to Kilmartin Glen, an archaeologist’s dream with around 800 ancient monuments, including burial chambers, rock carvings, standing stones, and castles. Our driver-guide helps us understand their significance and make the most of our visit.
Our final stop before reaching Glasgow for the evening is Inveraray, a lovely town with stunning views over Loch Fyne.
