My time in Italy with G Adventures was fantastic and a trip of a lifetime! The CEO Babi, driver Mauro and local guides made the experience a trip I won't forget. I thoroughly enjoyed the hikes in the countryside, the visits to the wineries and the food was amazing at every location! I look forward to returning to Italy with G Adventures.

I think a lot of work needs to go into the tour description. More detail as to where the hikes are going, and what we will be seeing on them The physical requirements to enjoy the hikes needs to be emphasized. At least one member of out tour could not complete any of them. Had the descriptions been better they may have made a different choice. Proper vetting of accommodations should be done. The joining hotel in Florence was not at the G Adventure standards. THe two days in Florence were very expensive. We paid $2700 for two days. From what we gathered this was much more than others had paid to join the tour for the Florence part of the tour. Granted we didn't read the fine print, but were lead to believe (again from the published tour information) that the two days would be in the country side not in Florence, in sub standard accommodations.

The Geluxe trip to Italy was wonderful, and as always, the GA experiences are what make the trip memorable. I will never forget our picnic in the vineyard, the cooking class at the winery, and the Vespa tour in Rome! All exceptional experiences. I also give a lot of credit to our CEO, who, as in every GA trip I've taken, has been the heart of the journey. They are your most valuable asset.
