Itinerary
This is a day-long tour of Giverny, Versailles and Grand Trianon, designed for a small group to offer an in-dept and immersive experience. The tour starts and ends in Paris, with the hotel pick-up and drop-off service. During the tour, you will be accompanied by our expert guide to show you around the historical sites, monuments and landmarks. In between the tour, you will also have plenty of free time to explore on your own.
Tour itinerary:
8:00 am: Departure from Paris to Giverny
08:00 am: Meeting in Paris at Opera Garnier Steps or Pick up from your hotel entrance door if option booked. Departure to Giverny, the home of Claude Monet. On the way, you guide will give you the general Information about the French history and Impressionism. The 70-kilometer journey will take little over an hour.
09:15 am – 11:00 am: Giverny Claude Monet's house
Upon arrival in Giverny, we start our tour with a visit to Claude Monet's historic house to admire the nature that inspired one of the most famous French painters and founder of Impressionism. Step into Claude Monet’s studio, where the magic of his artistic genius came to life, wander through the enchanting Norman flower gardens, marvel at the iconic water lilies in the picturesque pond.
11:00 am – 12:00 pm: Free time in Giverny
Enjoy an hour-long free time in Giverny. Explore the village to admire flowered houses, art galleries and cafes. We recommend visiting the Museum of Impressionism Giverny.
12:00 pm – 13:00 pm: Lunch break in Giverny.
After the free time, there will be another hour-long lunch break before we depart Giverny.
13:00 pm: Departure to Versailles.
After lunch we set out towards Versailles. The 70-kilometer journey will take about one hour. En route to Versailles, your guide explanation about the rich history and interesting facts of Versailles and its inhabitants telling.
14:00 pm – 15:30 pm: Versailles Palace tour
Enjoy an audio-guided tour of Versailles Palace, a timeless symbol of French grandeur. You can pause at any spot you desire for as long as you wish, allowing you to form your own personal impressions. You will also visit the legendary Hall of Mirrors and the magnificent Royal Apartments. All in all this, will be your personalised and informative adventure.

16:30 pm – 17:30 pm: Tour of Small Trianon and Hamlet de la Reine
