day 1 - Arrive in Delhi

Meet our representative at the airport. They will introduce you to your private driver who will drive you to your hotel for check-in and brief you on the itinerary. The rest of the day is free for you to relax and recover from the long flight.

day 2 - New Delhi sightseeing tour

Your exploration of Delhi begins with Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, the most important place of worship for the Sikh people in the city. After passing by landmarks such as India Gate, you will arrive at Humayun's Tomb, which acted as a prototype of the famous Taj Mahal.

Later, you will visit the Unesco-listed Qutub Minar and learn more about Gandhi's life and death at the Gandhi Smriti. Finish the day at the colorful Hindu temple of Laxmi Narayan.

day 3 - Old Delhi join-in walking tour & travel to Agra

A half-day, join-in walking tour of Old Delhi awaits you today. Experience the chaos and noise of the city's most historic district. Explore the bustling bazaars' off-the-beaten-path backstreets, interact with local vendors and savor an Indian lunch in a traditional haveli. This afternoon, proceed to Agra, which is about four hours away.

day 4 - Agra: Taj Mahal & Agra Fort

Start your day with a breathtaking sunrise view of the Taj Mahal. Enjoy its architectural beauty while listening to the touching love story of Mughal emperor Shah Jahan and his beloved wife. Return to the hotel for refreshments before exploring Agra Fort in the afternoon. Made with red sandstone, this fortress has a two-and-a-half-kilometer-long enclosure wall and was once the main residence of Mughal emperors.

After the sightseeing tour is over, have dinner with a local family and converse with the host to broaden your understanding of India.

day 5 - From Agra to Jaipur

Check out of the hotel and travel to Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan. Stop along the way to visit Fatehpur Sikri, an abandoned Mughal capital. You can catch glimpses of its glorious past while ambling around the complex.

day 6 - Jaipur, Amber Fort & City Palace Museum

Take a full-day guided tour to discover why Jaipur is known as India's 'Pink City'. Start with Amber Fort, located on a hill about 11 kilometers from the city. The architecture, furniture, art and tradition on display inside the fort will give you an idea of the Rajput lifestyle. Do not miss out on a sight of the fabulous Sheesh Mahal located inside the fort.

Return to Jaipur after taking in a panoramic view Nahargarh Fort. The City Palace Museum and Jantar Mantar, both located in the city center, will be your next stop. Before returning to the hotel, there is a photo stop near the outer façade of Hawa Mahal.

day 7 - Jaipur to Pushkar

Continue to the desert oasis of Pushkar, a holy site where you can find peace while traveling through Rajasthan. Reach your destination after about two hours and then take a walk around Pushkar Lake. This sacred site, semi-circular in shape and surrounded by 52 bathing ghats and over 400 temples, is a good place to see Hindus come to pay their respects. Next, pay a visit to the Brahma Temple, the only temple in the world dedicated to Lord Brahma.

day 8 - Pushkar to Jodhpur & Bishnoi village

A four-hour drive will take you from Pushkar to Jodhpur. Upon arrival, enjoy a jeep safari to the rural Bishnoi village. Locals in the community are eager to share with you the stories about their ancestors, their insights into daily lives and their ideas on arts and culture.

day 9 - Jodhpur, Mehrangarh Fort & Jaswant Thada

Make the Mehrangarh Fort, the most magnificent fort in Rajasthan, your first stop of Jodhpur exploration. Admire the outstanding display of royal memorabilia at its museum, take in daily cultural performances inside the fort and enjoy a spectacular panoramic view of the blue city. Then pay a visit to Jaswant Thada, built with expertly carved sheets of white marble. In the afternoon, visit a clock tower and the nearby local market.

day 10 - Jodhpur to Udaipur with Ranakpur Jain Temple en-route

Depart from Jodhpur for Udaipur, also known as the 'city of lakes'. Stop en route to see the Ranakpur Jain Temple, which dates back to 1439 AD. You will be amazed by its thousands of carved marble pillars that support turrets, domes and halls during the audio-guided tour.

day 11 - Udaipur

The Jagdish Temple in the heart of Udaipur will take your breath away with its marvelous architecture. In a few steps, you will enter its city palace, where you will be enchanted by the collection of antique furniture, unique paintings, ornamental tiles, and other princely items.

After that, take a one-hour shared motorboat ride on Lake Pichola to relax. Later, visit the Garden of the Maids of Honour as well as the Folk Art Museum. Call it a day while enjoying a beautiful sunset from Sajjan Garh Palace.
