Passengers are welcome to board our ship in Berlin starting at 6:00 p.m. After comfortably settling into your cabins, we'll introduce our crew at a welcome cocktail. We'll enjoy dinner on board.

day 2 - December 21

In the morning, optional excursion: panoramic tour of Berlin. The German capital captivates with its diverse tourist attractions, cultural richness, and a lifestyle that is both dynamic and laid-back. The contrasts between historical buildings and contemporary architecture define the city and tell the story of an entire nation, from the Brandenburg Gate to the Chancellery. You will glimpse the Victory Column next to a statue of Bismarck, then the Brandenburg Gate adjacent to the Reichstag with its glass dome, Museum Island, Alexanderplatz with its Television Tower, and Check Point Charlie. Finally, stop at the Christmas market in Gendarmenmarkt, one of the most beautiful squares in Berlin. Between the French Church and the German Church, you will immerse yourself in a festive atmosphere surrounded by thousands of Christmas baubles and lights. You will discover treasures of craftsmanship: glassblowers, goldsmiths, candle makers, and tailors.In the afternoon, optional excursion: Visit to the New Palace. This magnificent palace in the Sanssouci Park symbolizes the power of Prussia. Unlike the intimate Sanssouci Palace, the New Palace is a building with long rows of rooms, party halls, and galleries lavishly decorated. You will explore the Marble Hall, the Grotto Hall, the concert hall, and the Palace Theatre. Free time.
We'll be cruising towards Wusterwitz. Enjoy an evening of entertainment.

day 3 - December 22

Morning sailing on the Elbe River.Stretching 1,091 kilometers, it is the 14th longest river in Europe. Originating from the Giant Mountains, it flows through Bohemia and Saxon Switzerland before reaching the North Sea at Hamburg. Magdeburg is one of the major cities traversed by this river.Arrival in Magdeburg early in the afternoon.Optional excursion: Magdeburg : A Hanseatic city full of character. First mentioned in a manuscript in the year 805, the capital of Saxony-Anhalt surprises visitors with its diversity and a rich history spanning more than 1,200 years. You will discover the Cathedral and the Monastery of Our Lady—two of the most remarkable historical landmarks of Magdeburg’s cultural heritage.You’ll also catch sight of the Green Citadel with its vibrant facade, the Market Square and the equestrian statue of the Magdeburg Horseman, the Town Hall, and its Bronze Portal.This will also be an opportunity to visit one of the largest Christmas markets in Germany. Around the historic Town Hall, hundreds of stalls, chalets, and rides delight both young and old. Magdeburg’s legendary mulled wine, artisanal crafts, glassblowers, and Christmas spices bring joy to all visitors.Free time before returning to the ship.Enjoy an evening of dancing. Overnight cruising.

day 4 - December 23

Arrival in Wittenberg early in the morning.Optional excursion: Wittenberg, the city of Luther. Departure toward the town center and its beautiful Renaissance-style patrician houses. You’ll see the town hall, in front of which stand the statues of Luther and his disciple Melanchthon. Landmarks such as the Castle Church—considered the heart of the Reformation’s spread—Luther’s house, and Melanchthon’s house are part of the city’s heritage. You will visit Martin Luther’s house(2), which was his home and workplace for 35 years. Today, it houses the world’s largest museum dedicated to the history of the Protestant Reformation. Then, you’ll visit the Gothic Church of St. Mary. Further along, you’ll see Cranach’s house, whose portraits are now exhibited in the world’s greatest museums.Return on board and continuation of the cruise on the Elbe River.A UNESCO biosphere nature reserve, this stretch of the Elbe offers a unique natural and cultural landscape, with untouched floodplains, white sandy beaches, and wooded hills.Enjoy an evening of entertainment. Overnight cruising.

day 5 - December 24

Arrival in Meissen early in the morning.Optional excursion: Guided tour of Meissen and its Christmas market. Discover the historic charm of this medieval town dominated by the 15th-century Albrechtsburg Castle. Meissen is also known for producing some of the finest German porcelain. You will explore the old town with its large square lined with Renaissance houses, the town hall, and the Church of Our Lady, both in late Gothic style. During this time, the magic of Christmas is in the air; the streets shine with thousands of lights, and the aromas of mulled wine and traditional pastries fill the air. Stroll through beautifully decorated stalls offering a wide range of local crafts: decorations, candles, sculptures, pottery, and much more.Meanwhile, the ship will sail towards Dresden, where you will meet it.In the afternoon, optional excursion: Dresden, the "Florence of the Elbe." Your visit will begin with a panoramic tour, where you'll enjoy magnificent views of vast green spaces like the Grand Garden, the Elbe banks and hills, prestigious villas, major buildings such as the football stadium, and the VW factory. Then, take a walking tour of the old town, passing through the iconic Theater Square, where you will admire architectural masterpieces from baroque and Renaissance styles. You will see the Semper Opera House, the magnificent Zwinger Palace, and the Georges Tower. Then, stroll along the Brühl Terrace, also known as "The Balcony of Europe," lined with exceptional baroque and neoclassical architecture, offering stunning views of the Elbe from the south bank.Christmas dinner. Christmas Mass in Dresden (3-4).

day 6 - December 25

In the morning, optional excursion: The Elbsandsteingebirge (Elbe Sandstone Mountains in Saxon Switzerland). Geologically, the origin of this landscape dates back four million years. During the Cretaceous period, the region was still submerged. The erosion that followed wore down the rocks, giving them these spectacular shapes. The landscape is characterized by tower-like rocks, where the interplay of light and shadow, time, and wind continually transform the forms, revealing new facets. Visit the Königstein Fortress, which uniquely showcases European fortified architecture. This imposing complex, with its flamboyant Gothic, Baroque, and 19th-century buildings, is the result of over 750 years of history. The rampart walk offers beautiful views of the Elbe.Enjoy an afternoon cruising through the enchanting regions of Saxon Switzerland and Northern Bohemia.Enjoy an evening of entertainment.

day 7 - December 26

Optional excursion: guided tour of Litomerice. The picturesque town of Litomerice is located on the banks of the Elbe, at the boundary between a large agricultural plain and the mountainous, wooded landscapes that characterize the high plateaus of Central Bohemia. The town's historic center is almost entirely surrounded by fortifications dating back to the Gothic period. You will be able to admire architectural gems, such as the Mírové náměstí square, lined with medieval houses of original design, some of which are among the oldest inhabited houses in the Czech Republic. A tasting of local specialties will conclude the tour.Return to the ship. We'll spend the afternoon cruising. Evening of entertainment.

day 8 - December 27

We'll spend the morning cruising towards Prague.Optional excursion: Guided tour of Old Prague. You will head to the Old Town Square, with its charming arcade houses, today the most visited place in Prague, the statue of Jan Hus, the reformer who was burned in 1415, the Town Hall with its famous Astronomical Clock, which reveals the 12 apostles every hour, the Church of Our Lady before Týn (exterior), the Ungelt Passage, and the Merchant's Courtyard. You will also see the Municipal House, the most beautiful Art Nouveau gem in the city, and the Powder Tower, a 75-meter-high Gothic monument, which once served to guard the route to Kutná Hora.In the afternoon, optional excursion: The Castle District. A symbol of the glorious past of the Czech people, the Prague Royal Castle is at the heart of the country’s political life, as it is the residence of the President of the Czech Republic. Located on a hill overlooking Old Prague and Malá Strana, this monumental complex rises from a crown of gardens and rooftops, its long horizontal façade crowned by the towers of St. Vitus Cathedral and St. George's Monastery. You will admire beautiful churches (St. Vitus Cathedral, Strahov Monastery) and splendid palaces (Cernin, Belvedere). Then, wander through the historic streets (New World, Golden Lane).Return to the ship. Gala evening.
