Cycle through UNESCO-listed streets of Antigua to a nearby coffee plantation to learn about highland coffee production and sip on a fresh cup of coffee.

Summit Santa Ana Volcano in Cerro Verde National Park for an incredible view of the turquoise crater lake and surrounding coffee plantations.

Hike through the Salvadoran jungle to swim in the many waterfalls, then relax at El Tunco’s black sand beach.

Itinerary

Grab your hiking shoes and charge your camera for a 9-day hiking, cycling and kayaking trip across Central America. Follow the volcano trail to the coast, stopping along the way to cycle through coffee groves and paddle across volcanic craters. Get the best views of the erupting Fuego volcano from your overnight stay on neighbouring Acatenango before summiting El Salvador’s Santa Ana volcanic lagoon crater. Enjoy time to rest and recover at the hot springs along the Ruta del las Flores or in the waterfalls of Tamanique before ending your adventure with a surf break on the Pacific Coast. This is one wet and wild adventure.
