Highlights include the dazzling beaches and Corfu views in Saranda, panoramic sunsets from Lekursi Castle, and the powdery sands of Ksamil. Borsh offers the country’s longest stretch of beach, while Porto Palermo Castle adds a slice of history. Explore the laid-back Old Town of Himara and the picturesque villages leading to Dhermi, one of Albania’s most beloved beaches. Cap off your trip with the stunning vistas of Vlore Bay, taking in Sazan Island and the Karaburun Peninsula before returning to Tirana.

day 1 - Saranda City Tour & Lekursi Castle

Tirana - Saranda - Albanian Riviera. In the morning, our tour leader will pick you up from your hotel in Tirana, so make sure you arrive in the city at least one night before your tour begins.

Our first destination is Saranda, known as the pearl of the Albanian Riviera and the unofficial capital of Albania, especially in summer. Set along the Ionian Sea with stunning views of Corfu Island, Saranda enjoys over 300 sunny days a year. Famous for its rocky beaches, scenic bays, rich flora, citrus groves, olive plantations, and vineyards, the city’s port connects southern Albania with Mediterranean countries. After exploring the city, you'll have time to relax on the beaches or explore at your leisure. In the afternoon, take a stroll along the promenade by the Ionian Sea, enjoy a coffee or ice cream, and soak in the views. As the day ends, Saranda offers an unforgettable sunset, filling the sky with vibrant colours.

Next, we'll head to Lekursi Castle, perched on a hill above the city, where we’ll enjoy one of the region’s most spectacular panoramic views. As the sun sets, the sky transforms with brilliant hues of pink, orange, and purple, casting a magical glow over the sea. We’ll spend the night near the Albanian Riviera, soaking in the tranquil atmosphere.

day 2 - Beach day in Ksamil

Albanian Riviera - Ksamil - Albanian Riviera. After breakfast, we will head towards Ksamil, where you’ll discover a tropical paradise with its white sandy beaches and views of four islands just off the shore. Known as the pearl of the Albanian Riviera, Ksamil is one of Europe’s top beach destinations, celebrated for its fine sandy beaches and crystal-clear waters. While the Albanian Riviera boasts many beautiful beaches, this particular spot offers a feel reminiscent of Bora Bora. We’ll have time to dive into the turquoise sea, enjoy the warm waters, and soak up the laid-back atmosphere. Later, we’ll make our way back to the Albanian Riviera to spend the night.

day 3 - Borsh Beach & Porto Palermo Castle

Albanian Riviera - Borsh - Albanian Riviera. After enjoying breakfast, we will set off to explore the breathtaking coastline of the Albanian Riviera, renowned for its stunning beaches, hidden coves, pebble shores, and inviting crystal-clear waters.

Our tour leader will guide us to Borsh, a peaceful coastal village famous for its olive oil production. The beach here is pristine, with crystal-clear waters offering spectacular views of the Ionian Sea, the coastline, and the surrounding mountains. We will visit the longest and largest beach on the Ionian Sea, stretching an impressive seven kilometres.

On our way to the next destination, we will stop at Porto Palermo Castle, where we will be greeted by the sight of an ancient fortress overlooking the azure waters. Also known as Ali Pasha Castle, this historic treasure dates back to the Ottoman era. Its architecture blends Ottoman and local styles, with robust stone walls, arched doorways, and remnants of old cannons that once defended the bay.

After exploring the fortress, we will continue our coastal journey, with more breathtaking views and hidden gems awaiting discovery. We will then make our way to our accommodation.

day 4 - Himara & Dhermi Exploration

Albanian Riviera - Himara - Dhermi - Albanian Riviera. Today we will experience the breathtaking beauty of Himara, a charming coastal town along the Albanian Riviera. We will immerse ourselves in its rich history, stunning landscapes, and warm hospitality. Our day begins with a scenic drive through picturesque villages, offering views of Albania’s rustic countryside. Upon reaching Himara, we will be captivated by its tranquil atmosphere and the azure waters of the Ionian Sea.

We will wander through the narrow cobblestone streets of Himara’s Old Town, where traditional stone houses each hold a unique charm. Exploring historic landmarks, we will delve into Himara’s fascinating past. The town is famous for its pristine beaches, and no visit is complete without taking some time to relax on the sandy shores or swim in the crystal-clear waters. Himara’s unspoiled coastline offers an idyllic retreat from everyday life’s hustle and bustle.

Later you can enjoy a seaside walk and savour delicious local cuisine, influenced by neighbouring Greece. The seaside promenade is perfect for trying fresh fruit juice and shopping for handmade souvenirs.

As we continue along the Albanian Riviera, we will pass some of Albania’s most beautiful beaches, including Vuno, Palasa, and Dhermi. Our journey will take us through small villages clinging to seaside rock faces, with tumbledown stone walls and narrow pathways overhung with grapevines, fig trees, and walnut trees. Our next stop is Dhermi, one of Albania’s most renowned beaches, where you will have some free time to enjoy the seaside. We will spend the night near the Albanian Riviera.

day 5 - Vlore Bay & transfer to Tirana

Albanian Riviera - Tirana. After breakfast, you can enjoy some leisure time by the sea on your last day at the Albanian Riviera. Find a perfect spot to lay down your towel and listen to the soothing sound of waves lapping at the shore of Vlore Bay. You might also discover a cozy place to enjoy a drink while taking in the stunning views of Sazani Island and the Karaburun Peninsula.

Later, we will drive back to Tirana, marking the conclusion of this incredible experience. Our tour ends at approximately 18:00 - 19:00.
