From Budapest to Dubrovnik, there's so much to explore with this 8-day adventure around the Balkans. With some of the hottest 'it' destinations on the clock, these drool worthy spots might have names that are hard to pronounce, but we promise, they'll be hard to forget too! Eat, sleep, explore, repeat is the name of the game on this incredible snippet of these Balkan faves.
Lake Bled: Take it easy with your new besties as you walk around the scenic lake, framed by the Julian Alps.
Plitvice Lakes National Park: Turquoise lakes. Sparkling waterfalls. Lush green forests. You’ll never want to leave this little slice of heaven.
Dubrovnik: Stroll through the UNESCO-listed old town with a local guide. And play a game of ‘spot the Game of Thrones film set’ as you go.
I was on Balkans Escape with Tom. He was incredible and I would highly recommend as a tour manager! Also the Coach Driver was so friendly and made me feel safe! As for the tour, would highly recommend for anyone who wants to travel to places unlike any else. Budapest, Zadar, Split, Dubrovnik, Ston Ljubljana and ALL the others…each town/city was unique and beautiful! arranged for us to do an incredible wine tasting experience in Radovljica which I would recommend to be added as a Free Time Add-On
It was really cool to see all the places we did. It is fast paced so plan the things you want to do in each destination on the bus. Can't get time for everything. Sometimes it can be a toss up between wanting to be social or wanting to get everything done or get sleep. Usually it's easy enough to do all you want though. The people are great, but maybe a little short if you are wanting to make good friends.
Poor organization and lack of informative history of the places we visit. Random service stops where most things are not opened.
This trip was amazing! Our tour guide was absolutely incredible in giving us all of the information we needed. The bus drives were planned out well so we were never on them for too long before stopping. I would've liked to have more time in Split, but other than that, everything was the perfect amount of time and I would highly recommend this trip.
