Escape the bustle of Cairo on this four-day desert getaway to Bahariya Oasis and beyond. You’ll journey through the volcanic Black Desert and glinting Crystal Mountain before settling into a private camp in the surreal White Desert—home to ghostly rock formations shaped by the wind. day 1Cairo to Bahariya Oasis
You'll be picked up early from your hotel in Cairo at 7 am for the drive to El Heiz Oasis, around 350 km southwest – the journey takes roughly four hours. You'll stop along the way for lunch and a chance to stretch your legs.
In the afternoon, visit the Black Desert, where dark volcanic stones and black powder coat the landscape in striking contrast. Continue to Crystal Mountain – a natural ridge glittering with quartz crystals, often called the Jewel of the Desert.
From here, you'll travel on to the White Desert, where your deluxe private camp awaits. Spend the evening enjoying the peace and beauty of this unique landscape.
