Boarding. Departure for a guided tour of Manaus, the gateway to the Amazon rainforest. A peaceful city with unique architecture, you'll explore its historic center and pass by the famous Amazonas Opera House. You'll stroll through the Adolpho Lisboa Market, a striking wrought-iron structure located on the banks of the Rio Negro. This iconic spot is one of the city’s most vibrant and colorful places, filled with the scents of spices, freshly caught fish, and exotic tropical fruits with curious shapes. The market also offers traditional remedies, local handicrafts, and ingredients typical of Amazonian cuisine. You'll then visit the Manaus Opera House, or Teatro Amazonas, a Renaissance-style architectural masterpiece inaugurated in 1896. It is adorned with European materials, such as Carrara marble, Murano glass chandeliers, and even glazed tiles from Alsace. A short cruise will bring you to Vila Paraiso, where you’ll visit the Rubber Museum.
