We went to many places in Portugal and had a good overview of the different aspects of the country. Would have loved to spend more time in certain places eg Porto and Tomar. Overall it was a very good trip. Would have been even better if group size was smaller (there were 44 people in the group) but everyone was co-operative and I really liked the seat rotation on the coach. Local guides were also very informative and time spent on the coach was not excessive, so that was really good. Points for improvement - the optional Cataplana dinner in Algarve was disappointing in terms of quality and the optional dinner after the Duoro River cruise was also not very good. The food for the farewell dinner at the vineyard was also unimpressive. Otherwise, good trip!

- covered key areas with wonderful hotels - spent majority of time in South Island where much of the natural beauty resides - included brief exposure to Maori culture, a Kiwi Hatchery, and a working farm - often provided free time to explore areas, shop, or dine

This tour was amazing. Lots to see and do. But what really made this trip exceptional was the staff. The tour guide, Abder, was amazing. He constantly went above and beyond to meet our needs and make sure we were having a great time. He was kind, patient, and has a real passion for what he does. Also has a great sense of humor. I would also like to commend our driver, Abdul. He was kind and hospitable. Drove safely and has a great sense of humor too. The tour and the guide were excellent, and we saw a lot more than we were expecting in Havana. They were also flexible in letting us see some places on our list so we appreciate it. The hosts in Varadero were also very accompanying especially when we asked to stay a couple extra nights. Overall the tour was fantastic.

Captain Zoran and his responsible crew gave our group of 12 the most amazing trip of a lifetime! We had to reschedule due to Covid and Zoran honored everything from the original trip and went above and beyond to make this anticipated experience a high-end luxury vacation on Korcula Island in June 2022...from the Soul Sisters Villa, the daily island excursions on the yachts, the buggy tour of Korcula, along with the awesome food and transportation...it was all seamless due to the coordination of Captain Zoran and all of his local contacts in the community! Roko, along with the rest of the crew members, became a part of our extended family. We had high expectations going into the trip and they were pleasantly exceeded in all aspects...including personal communication from Captain Zoran each day about our unforgettable daily adventures. Croatia is a beautiful country and this local travel specialist is the only way to experience it if you want to come home with memories that make you want to go back there tomorrow! We love this holiday so much we have returned several times . The buggy rides, the snorkelling , wine tasting, the cycling, the kayaking , beautiful secluded beaches , coastal walks , paddle boarding and wonderful trips on the yacht to very special places … the need not to worry about breakfast and lunches and the sunset cruise … each year the children chose what they wanted to do and we relaxed - enjoying activities together and never needing to nag them to get up and participate. Simply joyful . Returning again this year ! All 7 of us .

I have just returned from the 17-day Japan tour, and I have to say, it was one of the best trips I’ve ever been on! Our group leader, Lachie, was absolutely incredible. Our trip to Australia with Luxury Gold was an excellent experience, it was a very busy itinerary, but it allowed us to see a lot of what Australia has to offer. The whole schedule was put together exceptionally well, and our Tour Manager was very attentive and looked after us throughout the trip. Our favourite hotel was The Reef Hotel, The Langham was also exceptional. The only part we would change, would be the trip to the Yarra Valley in Melbourne, as the visit to the Chocolate experience was not for us. In hindsight we would rather have spent the day at leisure in Melbourne. Every other aspect of the trip was spot on, we loved it.

Fantastic itinerary covering the major sights, incredible palaces, spectacular forts, and beautiful temples of the ‘Golden Triangle’ Rajasthan. Luxurious beautiful hotels, all diverse in size and style and even one where we arrived and departed by private boat! Upon arrival we were greeted by friendly staff in traditional dress. Some of the hotels performed a traditional scarf ceremony or beautiful flower necklaces with traditional music. A few of the hotels surprised us with rose petals which were sprinkled from high above onto us as we entered! Yes there was the opposite end of the spectrum where in the big cities horns were blowing and scooters were everywhere zigzagging and livestock sometimes laying in the middle of the road. I must say it was all fascinating creating a lot of laughs and part of the experience of India. The itinerary included experiences were great! The places we visited were incredibly beautiful, such diverse architecture, decoration and history. The Taj Mahal sends shivers when you first see it and seems surreal. The sunrise casting a beautiful golden light onto the buildings was sublime. Our Tuk Tuk tour through New Delhi, and our jeep journey through the dunes at sunset with our evening dinner (with entertainment) in the middle of the dunes was fantastic! The mix of the big city, villages, countryside, hilltop fortresses, lakes, forests and sand dunes really gave a great diversity of experiences. We even had monkeys in the trees above us during lunch one day! Our coach was very comfortable and spacious and appreciated the endless bottled water on board. Enjoyed the commentary and care given by our Travelling Concierge who was very helpful with every request. India for me was a country filled with a rainbow of bright color and very lovely and beautiful people who were so polite and friendly with gorgeous smiles! That is one of my big takeaways from this trip. Well done Luxury Gold it was a great holiday and would not hesitate to travel with you again!
