Azerbaijan Tour Operators and Travel Agencies

My trip to the Azores was fantastic! We saw so much in a short period of time and enjoyed a variety of activities. Our leader, Vera, was outstanding. She was very organized, friendly, fun, and thoughtful. Vera helped create a cohesive and congenial group.

The tour days were not strenuous nor too laid back. Meals supplied and on your own were well apportioned based on the tour day's activities. We had a good opportunity to try the local cuisines of the three countries visited which is important to me since I'm a foodie and the wine tastings were interesting as well.

We really didnt know much about this area which has a rich and long history. Everything was beautifully organized with excellent, comfortable hotels, all including breakfast; a number of lunches and a few special dinners too, a range of cultural, historical, geological and archeological places to visit and the occasional day off to relax and do things on our own. We really appreciated that! Excellent and varied local food. The itinerary was well thought out. Although we could have stayed longer and seen more, this 2 week tour hit the highlights. Some of those highlights: Baku Azerbaijan, our first stop, a modern city right on the Caspian Sea, the 3 Dubai-like flame towers with a light show every night, the stunning architecture of the Heydar Aliyev Center. Walking on the beautiful wide lively 100 year old Baku Boulevard along the Caspian, with many locals also enjoying the view, the vendors, the food, the artwork. It was really nice to stay right across the street from it, with a view of the Flame towers too. Riding in Ladas to walk around rare mud volcanoes - wow. Gobustan cave paintings. Georgia: wine tasting in caves, overnight at the luxurious Akhasheni wine resort, Tbilisi, visiting Gergeti Holy Trinity Church high in the Caucasus mountains (stunning!), the rock cut cave town Uplistsikhe, Unesco World Heritage site. Armenia: Views of Mt. Ararat from everywhere, in Yerevan the fabulous Cascades multilevel art gallery going up a steep hill via escalators or walking.

I recommend this trip to anyone who is looking for a shorter trek to the Everest region, or who wants/needs to stay below 5,000 metres.

Amazing trip. World Expeditions made the whole experience easy from day 1 until the last day we departed. I took my 13 and 15 year old son and we all felt like we were adventuring without losing some of the basic comforts to make the trip feel a little easier. Would highly recommend.

A very full on and busy tour. Explores a lot of very different sights and maintains interest throughout. A lot of walking in ruins and uneven streets. Drives on the whole are not too long being broken by visits to places of interest and the bus was comfortable. The trip to the Sahara camp is amazing and very memorable as we drove there through a big sandstorm, the skills of the drivers to navigate this were very impressive. The campsite on arrival was very comfortable and served excellent food. The mosaics and historical sites are marvelous. Our guide Yusra was exceptional, she had lots of local knowledge, was fun, entertaining and well organised. She coped really well when a medical emergency arose to one member of the group providing the couple with great support while keeping the rest of the tour running with little disruption. We are very happy with the tour operator. I sent in the tailor-made tour request and received answer quickly. Despite my countless requests to readjust the program, Magda was very patient and helped adjusting until we got a perfect itinerary to suit our requirement, despite many completes on our requests. I compared this operator with 5 more tour operators in parallel and they won with the best itinerary, service, and price. Everything was very smooth. During the tour we also had a great time. Our guide Aneta is just the best. Very sweet, knowleadgeable, service-minded ,and has a super polished manner. The driver Mr. Zaza was also very nice. Though he drove a bit wild sometimes, I guest all Georgian do so. We had a great time for 7 days and nothing at all we could complain about. I would recommend the operator to anyone.

My girlfriend and I returned last month from a 9 day Georgia/Armenia trip that we organized thru the tour operator. Their service in one word - WOW!! I am still stunned at their attention and care, and when I sit back and examine the price we paid vs. where we stayed and what was covered (and compared it with other quotes), I am convinced that this is the best value that I have got among my many travels. I am serious! Even before the trip started, I was very impressed with David's email feedback as he patiently answered my queries and set up the tour. All the hotels they selected were 4 stars. We will especially remember a night that they had booked us in a castle when we were en-route to Armenia. It was so cool! All stayed included a nice breakfast buffet; more splendid were the dinners - every one of them - that they had arranged at various restaurants were excellent for both the venue and the taste. The guide and driver we had in Georgia were Ms. Natali and Mr. Zaza. Natali looks more like a model - really! - and enthusiastic. A very sweet lady with poise and grace, who patiently introduced us to her wonderful country. We were more than touched by Zaza, who helped us tremendously on the last day when we returned from Armenia and had to catch the flight @ the same night. A well-reviewed basic hotel that I had booked thru another site botched the reservation and by the time they could arrange for a different place, it took a few hours. It was pouring and the language difficulty added to the confusion and stress. Luckily, Zara patiently waited for us and actually intervened to speak to the two hotels and ensured that we were taken care off. He also arranged with the operator to prepare a fancier hotel just in case this fell thru but luckily it went smooth and he took us to the different hotel. (Thank you Zara!) Armenia leg - this was arranged by the operator thru their partners, Merry Tour. the guide's name was Ashot and he too was splendid. He was so knowledgeable that I didn't have enough time to get all my questions answered. I am so glad to have seen these two old and beautiful countries thru their services. They made the whole trip so relaxed and enjoyable and I will certainly recommend the operator as the only tour operator one needs to contact for their journey to these countries. Their service, price, and value are unbeatable. Thank you, operator, and your whole team for providing such excellent services. We thoroughly enjoyed Mountains and Monasteries. It comprehensively covered everything possible to see and do. The tour leader was outstanding and organisation faultless. We now have a better understanding and appreciation of 3 different cultures, their history and geography and aspects of a shared past. We highly recommend the tour.

This is a fascinating journey through remarkably unspoiled countries. Every day provided a place of great beauty or interest. The small group gelled into a very happy gathering. We were lucky to have such a wonderful tour leader, who contributed so much at every level.

Highly recommend this cycling trip. The hotels were all of a high quality and the cycling easy except for 2 spots where we had to cycle up steep hills to get to our hotel.
