This is supposed to be winter - but the tropical climate ensures that it never gets too cold, which means this is one of the best time to travel to Hong Kong.  All you’ll need is a jacket. Around February, the island will start to get a little foggy, so you might not get the best views if you’re in Hong Kong for trekking.

March to May is not the best time to visit Hong Kong, but it is definitely possible for you to enjoy the city during these months as well. The temperatures soar, and there will be a lot of fog cover, so you might not be able to go for a trek. Rainfall also starts intensifying towards May, so if you want to visit the outlying islands, do so in the beginning of the season.

September is the typhoon season, so keep an eye on the storm warnings before trying to visit the island during this period.
