Personally, I'd skip the winery and include extra time at Yosemite. Happy Girl Kitchen in Monterey - Tour Director said it was a "vegetarian dinner". My first thought was "yuk !" For someone who doesn't like veggies, this was a great meal, and I even helped myself to seconds ! Several people at our table had the same "wow" reaction to the Happy Girl veggies. Trafalgar, keep this stop on your itinerary ! Both other dinners - China Town in San Francisco and the farewell dinner in Monterey were very good. The agriculture stop at the artichoke farm was very interesting. We made an extra/unscheduled stop at the Luther Burbank Home and Gardens because (I think) our rooms weren't ready at the Santa Rosa hotel; short stop, but very pretty and interesting for all home gardeners on the trip.

I loved the tour, the scenery, the restaurants. Tour guide was like a walking encyclopedia on the whole area. The only thing I did not like was that I had to pay a lot more because I traveled alone. It was like being punished for traveling without a partner. From my viewpoint, that is not fair.

Great Trip with many great memories. We were very busy from early morning. I would have liked to have stayed a little longer in some places but I would still recommend it to anyone.

I will definitely book another Collette tour. I enjoyed the organization, the explanation of where and what we were going to see. Our guide was knowledgeable, engaging and professional.

An amazing trip, every day brought a new ‘wow’ moment, with the different landscape and scale of each national park. We loved the hikes, and that there were options for all levels too. Walking down into the Grand Canyon was amazing, seeing the hoodoos at Bryce, the rock formation of antelope canyon, exploring Zion and Yosemite, Monument Valley, Arches, Forest Gump Hill and then the sensory overload of Vegas! A full on trip, but absolutely worth it.

Every single place we went was amazing. I loved the Redwood forest the most for places we went. Best of all though were the people working and the friend we made on the bus.
