The entire trip was excellent from beginning to end. Spending 2 days in each city was a godsend. Each of the side tours were very informative with knowledgeable guides. There was good free time. The cruise was very nice along with cabin and free buffet. All the women on the tour mixed very well and I would highly recommend more women only tours. I would recommend this tour as is to any woman eager to travel and feel safe.
The hotels were well chosen and offered really good food. It's important to realize that much of the travel is not prearranged, but we were not high season so were able to book everything we needed. It would be better to arrive from Oslo than Bergen.
Venture into a realm of midnight sun and dramatic coastlines on the "Northern Norway Explorer" tour, a 9-day small group trip that uncovers the stark beauty and storied past of Norway’s Arctic reaches. Travelers will delve into Norway’s long, fabled history with visits to the Nidaros Cathedral and relics of St. Olav, while scenic excursions reveal landscapes where night blurs into day. This moderate-activity sightseeing trip combines overland journeys and boat explorations, perfect for those who crave both culture and nature.
Accommodations, transport, and meals are all covered in this tour package, ensuring a seamless experience from start to finish. The tour’s unique selling point is its exclusive access to the wild, untamed corners of northern Norway—a region where few travelers venture, but where unforgettable memories are made.
