From the first to the last second, the expedition was not only carried out very professionally, but also with a great deal of passion and a remarkable mixture of excellent planning and flexibility depending on the environmental conditions. You could tell from the entire team and crew — each highly competent in their respective fields — how committed they are to their job, but also to Antarctica as a unique and most beautiful corner of the planet. Safety and environmental protection were taken seriously, at the same time there was always a lot of fun and a lot to learn (and a lot to eat & drink) on board. All in all, a breathtaking experience.
I loved the opportunity to undertake a yacht sailing voyage for a week in safe hands, with good company and a good variety of interesting land excursions. For me the highlight was the nights a5 anchor in isolated bays with the opportunity to dive off the boat into crystal blue waters.
See Croatia's natural beauty for yourself on this eight-day sailing adventure along the gorgeous Adriatic coast. Mix relaxing days of swimming and beach going with time spent exploring medieval fortresses, chilling out in lively restaurants, wandering cobblestone streets and hiking to ancient ruins. Wind down in the evening with a spectacular sunset and fall asleep aboard the boat, being lulled to sweet dreams by the sound of lapping waves.
Fantastic experience living aboard the Eden, exceeded every expectation that I had about visiting the Galapagos islands (after 20+ years of dreaming about it)! My husband and I are so appreciative of our guide Adrian as well as the wonderful captain and crew on the Eden. Thank you!
We had a fantastic time in the Galapagos. This was our second tour with G adventures and both have run very smoothly from a logistics perspective. The Galapagos tour was packed full of activities and everything you could ever want/need was taken care of so you can just enjoy the islands/snorkelling. We had a great team of G adventures staff looking after us, and can?t wait to go back one day to see the rest of the islands.
Few destinations rival the Galapagos for up-close encounters with wildlife and this eight-day adventure cruise focuses on all the stars of the show. This boat trip is free of detours, overnight stopovers and passengers joining or leaving throughout, so you can stay on the ship and focus on the wildlife, landscapes and experiences. Venture to remote parts of the archipelago – the west coast of Isla Isabela and Isla Fernandina – to see all the best these islands have to offer. Snorkel with sea lions and reef sharks off Isla Santa Cruz and Isla Bartolome, spy frigatebirds, boobies and pelicans soaring above North Seymour and stroll among land iguanas and flightless cormorants on volcanic Punta Espinosa.
Highlights of Turkey tour takes you to the most essential sites to see over 8 days. Start off with vibrant Istanbul and discover the diverse history and incredible monuments before a cruising on the Bosphorus. Ride to the magical Cappadocia and watch the fairy-chimneys unfold from a hot-air balloon. Splash into white-washed thermal pools of Pamukkale and walk the impressive ruins of Ephesus. Then fly back to Istanbul in comfort.
Imagine the sun warming you while you lean over the side of a boat, peacefully watching the clear water wash against the limestone cliffs and pebbly shores of Croatia. This eight-day small-ship cruise offers plenty of that idle relaxation, broken upwith exciting activities like a river cruise and a walk to the waterfalls of the Krka National Park. Take on expeditions like a winery trip near Korcula and get a taste of what the Dalmatian Coast has to offer, all with a local leader and group of likeminded travellers.
Like our "Antarctica Classic" tour, this 13-day expedition introduces you to the magic of the South Shetland Islands and the Antarctic Peninsula, but adds on two additional days to better explore its majesty. Part of the reward of arriving in Antarctica is the challenge of negotiating the Drake Passage — and the G Expedition will bring you there safely. Encounter leopard seals lazing on ice floes and immense rookeries of penguins surrounded by towering glaciers. The G Expedition’s expert guides and lecturers offer knowledge and insight that really bring the nature and history of the region to life, creating the adventure of a lifetime.
Sub-tropical, unspoilt and fascinating; the picturesque Bay of Islands features 144 islands, incredible natural beauty and a whole lot of history.
For those keen to explore a single region of New Zealand, this is the ideal itinerary. Spend time in Auckland, sampling all the experiences on offer from food and wine tasting to sightseeing on the harbour before heading to the Bay of Islands.
Wander through giant kauri forests and learn about the history of early pioneers in the Northland region. Choose
to cruise around the bay, or visit the first permanent European settlement in New Zealand, the romantic town
of Russell. Finish your journey at Cape Reinga, a sacred place where two oceans meet and where an 800-year-old tree stands waiting to help M-aori spirits begin their final journey home. By the time you return to Auckland you’ll be deeply moved by the splendour, spirituality and hospitality of this magnificent and mythic region.
