My wife and I have been on several trips with the Trafalgar group (AAT Kings / Insight / Trafalgar). We have not had a bad experience yet. The travel directors were like personal concierges to us. Our travel directors, Tony and Marty, were fantastic people. Funny, professional and helpful. Bus drivers were excellent, optional experiences were great. The tour was precisely organised. Customers comfort being paramount. Our tour leader, Isobel, was a mine of information. She was never ‘in your face’ but there to give facts and history of the lovely islands that are New Zealand. Pete was our driver. He was excellent. The perfect foil for Isobel. Only one trip out in Queenstown we thought was misrepresented. The barbecue at the farm. We were looking forward to the beautiful boat ride across the lake, but not in the company of 280 other people! Had we have known we would not have gone. The trip was amazing. Saw so many places and met lots of lovely people. The tour has long days as you have to cover great distances some days but it is worth it for the varied landscapes and experiences that are on offer. Taking a camel ride along cable beach at sunset. Walking on shell beach, seeing dolphins, turtles, rays and incredible wildlife. Snorkelling, swimming in fern pool in Dale Gorge, walking among the pinnacles and finishing the tour with an entertaining talk by Derek an aboriginal. Carolyn. Tour director had so much knowledge to impart and took us to some incredible places. Terry the driver was amazing and kept us on the road and topped up with water. Nothing was too much for them. The accommodation varied, from luxury to a miner’s cabin but they were all clean and did the job. Remember we were at times in very remote areas and there is not a lot of choice. Embrace the experience. Would recommend taking the tour if you want to experience Western Australia.

It was a trip of a lifetime for me , i enjoyed it so much, all the people on the coach were very nice including Nathen the director and Stu the driver i was treated like family, and we learnt such a lot about the diffrent places that we went through, and the plane trip was outof thisworld seeing all that snow on top of the alps. All the accommodation was comfortable, warm and easily accessible. We really liked the Pavilions at Iron Bark Farm although one of us had difficulty walking but that was their problem. Staff on the whole were very welcoming and helpful Dream Island Resort was spacious and because it faced west, very warm to walk into as the dat although sunny quite cold.

Excellent guide and driver, Nathan kept us informed with any points of interest as we travelled around both north and south islands. Stu showed his driving skills so many times in tight spots on the highway as well as some of the hotel locations. This was our first coach trip and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

We had a wonderful time on tour with Santo our tour director and Pete our driver who both took extra care of my elderly parents who had mobility issues The places we went to were amazing and the meals provided excellent.
