The Wild West tour was excellent. There were seven members of my family on this trip, ranging from 10 years old to 84 years old, and we all enjoyed the natural wonders, animal sightings, tour guide insights and stories, and activities. There were spectacular scenes on the Snake river, Grand Tetons, and Badlands. The bus was comfortable and the tour guide and driver excellent.

Experience the rugged and wild West during this 9-Day tour. Start in Salt Lake City, and then head to Jackson & the Grand Tetons. The adventure continues to Yellowstone National Park where you will walk beside the rainbow-hued hot springs and watch Old Faithful spew water more than 120 feet into the air. In Cody, see a firearms collection at the Buffalo Bill Center. Travel to Devils Tower, a butte of igneous rock jutting from the craggy Black Hills mountains. Here, you’ll learn about the Western legends Wild Bill Hickok and Calamity Jane. Then head to Mount Rushmore National Memorial, where the visages of Presidents Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln and Roosevelt are carved into the mountainside. And ascend 563 feet to the top of Crazy Horse Memorial, named for the Lakota warrior, and stand face-to-face with the world’s largest mountain carving.

There were so many wonderful things about the trip . Somewhere in Time is one of my favorite movies so it was special to be there where it was filmed. My sister in law, Penny and I got to stay in a room with canopy beds. I grew up with a canopy bed and she had never slept in one . It brought back sweet memories:) The Grand Hotel was beautiful , and bike riding on the island and carriage rides were so much fun :) There were 10 of us from Cleveland, TN ,but we met so many new friends . There was so much laughter :) Chicago was so pretty when we took the architectural boat ride , visited the Bean , and toured the Art Institute. We had so many delicious meals , but I think my favorite was the prime rib at the Grand hotel . Our tour manager, Dawn was great , and told us so much about where we would be visiting each day, and even gave us homemade scones and air fresheners. Our bus driver, Jack was fun and always got us everywhere safely . I would highly recommend this . It was like a trip if a lifetime for me :)
Loved every area and hotel we visited. The biggest surprise for me, however, was how enjoyable and beautiful the Getty Museum was on our final full day! Amazing place that rivaled the Hearst Castle with the beautiful grounds plus an incredible collection of very famous artists - especially the Impressionists!
