The hotel in Barcelona, Frontair Congress, was a very bad hotel. Hotel staff were rude. The room was dirty. The hotel in Lyon, Campanille, was also dirty and small. The breakfast was bad. Basic spoon, fork and plate were not available.
As for the guides, we were very happy with Abdel, Spain guide, and Diego Bueno, our Interlaken, Grindelwald and Lucerne guide. Both of them were empathetic on our needs. Their English was good. We understood them the entire time. Angeles, our guide in France, was nice but we barely understood her English.
Over-all, we were very happy with the Novotel hotels we stayed in, both in Madrid and Paris.
I liked all the places I got to see and the knowledge the tour guides shared with us about each place. The trip was all a wonderful experience except, the Tour guide and experience in Paris. It was a night mare.

The wonderful itinerary.. the lovely places in France we visited.
We were Very pleased with GAETANO Mancuso as well as our friendly bus driver José Manuelthe last 5days on our 10 day France tour Gaetano is great as he made the trip pleasant, with detailed descriptions and stories.
Gaetano, We also wanted to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude for the incredible experience you provided, as our tour guide. Your passion for your work and genuine enthusiasm for sharing knowledge of the places we visited , made our experience in France truly memorable. We would definitely recommend you as a tour guide to others.
The tour operators George and Eva were fantastic
However we had a tour guide called Xavier who we met in Amsterdam and took us to end Berlin after sightseeing Hamelin
He was absolutely uninterested in his job and upon asking a relevant question he was always reluctant to answer
It seemed that he hated his job. He even after the bus left at the Berlin hotel left us without handing the key card. He really did not care about any of the passengers who mostly all had bad encounters with him
On the other hand I would give 11 stars out of 10 to EVA who was fantastic and went out of her way to make the tour lively and was so full of energy and do was GEORGE our first guide who was really nice and very very organised and good hearted. Both EVA amd GEORGE amd even ISRAEL were very good and exceeded their excellence EXCEPT XAVIER who was a total disaster guide who really everyone made everyone feel uncomfortable by stating his intro speech “ That we are his nightmare” On his introduction speech introducing himself . He was grumpy and had an unapproachable look on his face most of the times. He behaved as if he was the boss of Euromundo and we are his slaves. No one was happy with him
Rest the trip was really lovely and enjoyable
Tuvimos la fortuna de tomar un tour bilingüe OUMA es una guía excepcional estuvo muy pendiente de nosotros y de la otra pareja de Australia., Explicando todo detalladamente y siempre pendiente de contestar todas las preguntas . Por otro lado el guía en Español AYOUB nos hizo el viaje muy agradable ,contestando cuanta pregunta se le hacía ya que el grupo de habla Hispana le hacían Todo tipo de preguntas y para todo había una Respuesta, nos hizo sentir los circuitos cortos y agradables. En Fez cambiamos de guías AYOUB el joven que habla en inglés muy simpático, muy servicial y muy educado ,nos dio un servicio personalizado todo el resto del viaje , nos encantó que una persona tan Inteligente y amable estuviera dedicado a dejarnos saber y sentir todo sobre este país y cultura . Y KAHDIL el guía en español una persona muy agradable , divertido y servicial.
Gracias a los 4 guías que tuvimos nos llevamos un bello recuerdo de nuestro viaje y de este país.
